That's bullshyt bro. This fight was boring doesn't matter if you're a casual or a die hard fan.Robert didn't deserve to be in the same ring as Floyd.

fukk outta here.

As I said before when he fought Cotto, nikkaz were saying his legs were shot, he couldn't move like he used to. Floyd will be touched up if he decides to fought a brawler etc.

The moment that nikka displays a hint of "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather, NOT "Money" Mayweather people are saying his fights are boring.

This fight against Guerrero was a complete contrast to his last fight with Cotto.

Mayweather displayed true ring generalship wizardry. A true boxing fan would most definitely appreciate the tactics he used against Guerrero and that straight right hand counter that was catching Guerrero all night long :takedat:

As I said before what we witnessed lastnight was the "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather of old. His dad brought that out of him this go round.

If this version of Floyd faced Cotto last year nikkaz would be saying a completely different story.

The problem is that Boxing needs these casual fans though breh.

I have no problem with Manny. My interest in boxing has died. I can sit back and appreciate all the technical quality of a GSP when it comes to MMA, but I don't have it in me anymore to watch someone do the same with Boxing anymore. The Klitscho brothers almost buried Boxing to the ground for me.

What? Watching GSP lay on top of another guy for 25 minutes is more entertaining? Either you gay or have are an agenda and are trying to be slick coming off as neutral.

What a true boxing fan may enjoy and what the general public wants too see aren't the same. I've heard nothing but people say the fight was boring. These are regular people, not boxing aficionados.

No shyt.

If you saw my original post i said a statement of Floyd's fight with Guerrero being 'boring' is coming from a casual fan or manny pactard fanatic.

The definition of boxing is to hit and not get hit yourself and Floyd has mastered that. If you like boxing you love watching Floyd ply his craft. If you wanna see two men brawling you should go watch a Toughman fight.

I see what the OP is saying but the boxing heads are going to rip him for it. It's kind of like being a fan of Tim Duncan. If you're a casual bball fan and watch him, you'll think he's boring.

People just want to see Mayweather get beat up and get mad when it doesn't happen, I don't know why people entertain this shyt anymore.

Dana White talking the same, shyt Mayweather, boring, he runs, all this shyt, but always in attendance come fight night to pay homage to the cash cow.

When the last time you see Mayweather attend a GSP bout? Or any UFC for that matter?

Same routine, money may making'em mad

I like Mayweather fights but that was a snooze fest last night.. simply because there was no threat to Mayweather whatsoever for the entire fight. You have to expect more from from a pay per view event in this day and age. That fight should've been on regular Showtime not ppv.

But damn near everybody was a boxing aficionado back in the day and turned casual simply because you don't have enough big fights anymore throughout the year. Back in the day you had big time Heavyweight fights, welterweight fights, lightweight flights, numerous belts, a ton of challengers itching and dying for a shot at the belt, etc etc etc.. All you have damn near today is one so called big main event pay per view boxing match with a reality show attached of shyt talking leading up to a 12 round decision where the challenger barely even landed one clean punch. We all love Floyd's patience and defense in the ring but come on brehs you can't get mad when the general public wasn't feelin' that fight last night. :beli:
the thing is, you always had fights like the one last night BUT you had 3-5 other big fights coming up on the horizon so you didn't trip as hard. The lack of big time heavyweights plus ppv has killed the sport.

So then, here's the easy solution for you...stop watching Mayweather fights...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for you but no one is a threat to Floyd Mayweather...Canelo is the next hype job to get exposed and UD'd...and fukk your expectations, dude isn't going to risk his his life engaging in a moronic slugfest because that's what you want to see...It's called boxing son, and that's exactly what Floyd does...

Did you read what I wrote, I said I like Mayweather fights. And where in the fukk did I say it should've been a slugfest jackass? I said Guerrero was no threat to Mayweather- that doesn't mean its going to be a slugfest. wtf are you talking about? I grew up on boxing.. used to watch Mike Tyson fight on ABC world wide sports when I was a youngin'. Ain't no casual shyt over here breh

What I don't get is why people don't blame Mayweather's opponents instead of Mayweather? Mayweather goes out there and racks up rounds and you can tell waits to see if the opponent will start taking risks so he can counter em. Even when it's not happening you see Mayweather start to drop his hands, and back into the ropes, basically begging his opponents to turn it up.

You get all these guys coming into the fight saying they're going to bring the fight. As soon as Mayweather starts catching them with counters their activity level completely drops. It's not by coincidence either.

Even with a bunch of those flurries being thrown last night NONE were getting through. It was amazing to watch. Floyd's defense is flawless. He can do it with his feet, inside, outside. Most so-called great defenders only have one defensive area they specialize in. Mayweather can stand right in the pocket with his hands down and not get touched.
