The only question is where he will rank as far as historic franchise busts. Hard to beat Danny Watkins.

Speaking of, is Mike Mamula even a top 5 "bust" anymore? The 2000s have been ugly and may push him out of the top 10 before we hit 2030. :francis:

Just glad to know BG removed himself from that list, I backed him with fervor for years before he finally made it look like it was worth it. :wow:

In retrospect. Mamula actually contributed. It was a very small contribution, but he had 31.5 sacks in his career. He was more noteworthy because of the fact we passed on a HOFer in Warren Sapp. (I still hate myself for laughing at one of my students like 15yrs ago for wearing a Mamula jersey in class back when I used to substitute. Kid was probably just poor :mjcry:)

Watkins will still probably go down as top bust, but I kinda see that as more of a terrible Andy Reid decision than a straight up bust.

But Raegor man..........we keep waiting and waiting for him to show us ANYTHING, and he's clearly more of a liability on the field than being a straight up neutral non-factor. Hard to swallow having a 1d Rd pick that actually makes your team WORSE when you play him vs. not playing him at all.

And today is Raegor's birthday too. He had more birthdays than offensive yards today.

Just will never understand drafting him. At least kick the tires on Jefferson if his biggest question mark is can he play outside. At worst we'd have another Jordan Matthews then.
I'll be the first to admit I was Raegor >> Jefferson going into the draft process.

I would never imagine Jefferson would amount to this but hey, :yeshrug: I was wrong and this is why I post on the coli and I ain't no scout for any team :lolbron:

But I wanted no parts of Jefferson because I thought he was gonna be another Jordan Matthews/Nelly and off the strength of that, I didn't want history to repeat itself for a 3rd time. But credit to him for ballin out

With Raegor I thought he could be another Maclin but ended up being everything I feared with Jefferson, Agholor outside of the 17season :hhh:. I really thought he was gonna turn it around with this news staff but at this point, Ill rather ride with Quez Watkins because I got way more faith in him

Raegor nor Quez are starters...Quez should be a WR3 or WR4

We def need another WR capable of playing on the outside exclusively...preferably, one with size

Going into the 2020 draft, we were also high on Mims from Baylor. In hindsight, Jefferson or Aiyuk should've been the pick.

We probably keep Raegor around for 2 more yrs simply bc he has ST value. No way he gets a 2nd contract from us.

Jerome McDougle, Marcus Smith, and Jon harris were all pretty terrible

I don't think Reagor's career is over, I can see him going elsewhere and having some success but way back in September it was obvious to me he had no role here. Smitty lapped him as that #1 prototype and Quez lapped him in every area he was supposed to excel at (YAC, stretch the field).

He just doesn't bring anything unique to the offense and he can't be trusted to win his routes with timing and precision. Best case scenario is that Matthews for Darby type trade I keep referencing that gives him a fresh start elsewhere and lets us kick the tires on a similar talent that hasn't panned out yet at another position.

Howie's definitely gonna address that #2 WR role through free agency, it's just a matter of who (M.Williams, Godwin, Chark, A.Robinson, Gallup, etc).

Gallup would actually be a good fit, but I still think we need a big, physical WR...unless Stoll makes great strides in the offseason as a pass-catcher

problem is matthews showed promise and actually produced so we could get decent value for him. i dont even know if a NFL team would even trade a 6th/7th for this trash ass dude, even with him being drafted as a 1st rounder.

That god the Niners won their game, because Sam Darnold is ASS. Couldn't rely on the Panthers to beat Taysom fukking Hill. :martin:

Trey Lance didn't look half bad. :ehh:

All we need now is for the Packers to beat a Vikings team that's without Kirk Cousins, at home.

I didnt want JJ either...I wanted Ruggs and if not him Ceedee Lamb but I talked myself into being ok with Reagor
ironic we didnt want JJ bc we thought he was only a slot WR...and now we play Reagor.....in the slot :deadmanny:

Definitely, but even by that point we had to pair a 3rd with him to make that trade happen. He was productive but it was viewed as empty calories in a bad offense by a strictly slot WR who only had one year left on his deal.

I don't mind pairing the same 3rd (or higher) with Reagor for the right player, the sooner they rip off the bandaid and flip him the better.
