Go ahead and try without cutting the check. :unimpressed:

#1 yall have the lowest endowment outside of all ACC schools outside of Louisville

And now with Stanford, Cal Berkeley, and SMU lawyers added to UVA, Duke, Pitt, BC, lawyers.... :mjlol:

nikkaz bringing butterknives to gunfights. FSU boosters ain't built for this.

Open the wallet and you can go :yeshrug:

Next year, you win the ACC and you in the playoff (Even if you lose your QB) with 12 teams as a power 4 champ.

You goto the SEC, you gonna have to finish top 3 to have a chance.
Big 10, same.

And unless they got a backdoor deal already with either the SEC or Big10 (Doubt It), what is the endgame?

ESPN Owns (Excuse me, is a partner) with the SEC already. They know what's in the deal and aren't paying extra money they don't have to either.

Folks don't think when they feel "victimized", just reactionary vibes.

$572 million is a wild amount to pay because you were screwed out of the opportunity to compete for a Natty. I understand the frustration, but clear
and reasonable minds need to step up. Now if they somehow find a way to dip, the ACC's demise will be accelerated at an amazing level, and most likely detrimental to every school that wants to leave.

ACC is going nowhere.

And the reason why is the following schools will want to be in a conference:

BC
Pitt
Syracuse
Virginia
Virginia Tech
NC State
Wake
Miami
GT
Louisville
ND (Everything outside of football - they never giving up their independence there).

Only schools who voted against the last expansion are Clemson (Who may be on the downslide now), FSU (Cause they broke), and UNC.

Thing is I can see the following schools leaving for the Big 10

UNC
GT (We had preliminary talks with them before the expansion that added Louisville in the early 2010s)
UVA
Miami

All schools that are AAU Members. The conference itself has been the best academic conference as well (between us and Big 10 anyway).

And outside the SEC, the conference with the most Nattys in the last 25 years....... Yeah, The ACC.

Bad idea by FSU. I know they're upset because the CFP screwed them over, but this isn't the way nor is it worth the cost. $120 million exiting fee and a $500 million fine from the ESPN rights deal with the ACC?! :picard: And you're already in a Power 5 conference?! Nah, just calm down, FSU.

If you look at it from that angle, SEC would def poach UNC, Clemson, FSU and UVA

Academically, UVA would be a better fit for the B10 tho

100%. That's the thing, The Big 10 DOES value academic rep. If the ACC and the school presidents didn't put in that ironclad grant of rights agreement (coincidentally taken from the Big 12 and if you notice, not even Texas, OU tried to break to leave early for the SEC), schools would have left already.

And now with only Power 4 going forward and 12 team playoff, the Power 4 Champs are getting auto spots based on the setup.

True, but it's definitely against their favor to do all this extra shyt. Like Bomani said, the CFP is meant for entertainment and not for merit. I guess they assume the revenue for them to go another conference will account for the fees. Problem is they're going to really sorry if they go somewhere else. No offense my dude, but schools like UVA, UNC, and GT don't seem to care that much about a Natty :pachaha:. Them FSU fans are just as delusional as Miami and my UF bruhs when it comes to winning.

I'd make them nikkaz ineligible for the conference championship next year off GP for suing the conference.

YOUR SCHOOL PRESIDENT SIGNED THE DEAL THAT IS IRONCLAD TILL 2036.
You bitter, let's see what the lawyers do

This, they're paying to be in a conference that was already on a shaky foundation
They in the conference this year, we'll see what happened next year.

ESPN getting exactly what they wanted by keeping them out of the playoff. Fast tracking the dissolving of the ACC.
that does ESPN no good. They have a power conference on a Cheap TV rights deal for another 12 years. Live TV is the one thing that is extremely valuable to TV content creators and hubs.

They have no incentive not to renew :mjlol:

Cats need to get out of their feelings.

Power 4 Champs have a guaranteed spot next year. They always had an excuse for fukking over FSU this year.

Smartest decesion they've made in a while. That conference being so shytty is why they aren't in the playoffs right now.
