TYRONE GA!
Go ahead and try without cutting the check. :unimpressed:

#1 yall have the lowest endowment outside of all ACC schools outside of Louisville

And now with Stanford, Cal Berkeley, and SMU lawyers added to UVA, Duke, Pitt, BC, lawyers.... :mjlol:

nikkaz bringing butterknives to gunfights. FSU boosters ain't built for this.

Open the wallet and you can go :yeshrug:

Next year, you win the ACC and you in the playoff (Even if you lose your QB) with 12 teams as a power 4 champ.

You goto the SEC, you gonna have to finish top 3 to have a chance.
Big 10, same.

And unless they got a backdoor deal already with either the SEC or Big10 (Doubt It), what is the endgame?

ESPN Owns (Excuse me, is a partner) with the SEC already. They know what's in the deal and aren't paying extra money they don't have to either.

Go independent like the irish
Still would have to get out of exit fee, this is first step.. Like I said last offseason, THIS past season was THE LAST season of cfb as we know it.. The wheels have been in affect, I know many here want to hold on to past or dont want changes but that dies looong ago, PAC is long gone and ACC is dead man walking..

Hope everyone enjoyed the season, cfb is dead..

$572 million is a wild amount to pay because you were screwed out of the opportunity to compete for a Natty. I understand the frustration, but clear
and reasonable minds need to step up. Now if they somehow find a way to dip, the ACC's demise will be accelerated at an amazing level, and most likely detrimental to every school that wants to leave.

They were looking to leave before this season though(I'm sure getting jerked out of a CFP spot renewed the vigor for it)

Bowden: “They did want us, they did invite us to join the SEC. Everybody thought we would join. In fact, I thought we would but our administration — the president and others — wanted the ACC, which really was better for us. It would have been hard wading through that SEC. Too many good teams in there, boy.

Georgia Tech will just join the Big 10 and live they best life

Next year the Big 10 and the SEC will have 15 teams each. Most American professional sports only have 33 to 35 teams. @kdslittlebro

So the numbers match up perfectly.

I was being facetious. I figured calling it pro sports would make it obvious :russ:

Even if they found a loophole I don't think it would be a cheap one and they wouldn't be able to afford it.

The main reason they want to leave has to do with revenue

FSU is not a big money school and they absolutely need the tv revenue
