I actually think a a Newsome/Whitmer ticket wins going away. And I don't even think it matters which one is what. Although I think Whit being the VP would the stronger alliance.

I want to like Newsom. I really do. He's got a winning message on various topics, he's fearless and (pause) has the right look on TV. And he's shytting all over over DeSantis and Co. like they need to be. He's got items that hold him back (homeless, folks moving and companies).
I just think the California thing is gonna hold him back. Someone convince me different please. It's him or Whitmer for 2028 IMHO.
Only thing that would upset me, is there's no way Gavin isn't gonna blow Big Gretch's back out in the oral/oval office.

I think a Shapiro/Whitmer ticket is the way to go in the next election. Getting 95 reopened in Philly was big. I don't think any other governor would be able to pull that off, and pa is always a big swing state.
