They shopped it to most of the big networks - and were rejectedWas traveling, so I finally watched the last 4 episodes, and yup, this is def my favorite new show.
The writing is so dope; the dialogue between Kev and Dan feels so authentic, especially when they’re arguing. The storylines are interesting and the characters (pun intended, cuz NYC is known for having characters) have a good amount of depth. And most importantly: it’s actually funny; laugh out loud funny at times, which is so rare these days. They do a masterful job mixing the comedy with real shyt which should have them set up for several seasons.
I better not read somewhere that HBO passed on this first
