Was traveling, so I finally watched the last 4 episodes, and yup, this is def my favorite new show.

The writing is so dope; the dialogue between Kev and Dan feels so authentic, especially when they’re arguing. The storylines are interesting and the characters (pun intended, cuz NYC is known for having characters) have a good amount of depth. And most importantly: it’s actually funny; laugh out loud funny at times, which is so rare these days. They do a masterful job mixing the comedy with real shyt which should have them set up for several seasons.

I better not read somewhere that HBO passed on this first

its crazy that the white dude [dan perlman] was an intern on the ron and fez show back in the day. they used to clown him all the time. The dude stayed grinding and would always return to the show and give life updates. everyone starts somewhere.

i think its fukkin wack Showtime hasn't renewed this as of yet, but giving The Chi 4/5 seasons and Black Monday like 5 seasons.

I know a dude who used to be apart of that same show, he hosts a podcast I listen to.

Said the work environment was horrible and they’d shyt on all the employees daily.
