The current model at DCEU is that all that continuity shyt doesn't matter and they just make movies that could be connected if the people making them want to have them be connected but if not then

Batman is already in his 50s, his rogues are gone, and the Bat family doesn't exist except for Grayson who's dead instead of Jason.
Nobody likes Leto's Joker or Jesse's Lex, the main antags for Supes/Bats
They can sub in Keaton until Reeves is done with his Batman then they can recast with a brand new one. For Supes, they can have his pod get knocked off course like Kara and have him show up late in Kansas. There's your new Superman
