Why do all these race disparity charts that I have seen get posted lately constantly keep out Asian Americans?

Pew Research Center collects data on Asian Americans.

if people stopped selling their ideas and businesses to corporations to get the quick millions there would be a lot more employment opportunities for our communities.

Good point but this ain't necessarily a bad thing. Depends on how it's done. Blacks could serve well by selling ideas or small buisness to increase there income or net worth. However, those that do should keep the better or more viable ideas and implement them themselves to ensure that those ideas are not compromised and carried out in a way that will both provide a profit and enrich their communities.

2.Most Black Middle Class Kids Are Downwardly Mobile

Part of the reason is the downsizing of government jobs on all levels city, state, and federal. Technology got rid of a lot of jobs with the postal service. Since the Cold War ended it has become increasingly difficult to retire from the military. With higher licensing standards it is extremely difficult for blacks to become teachers in some states.

Five of the 10 richest black communities in the US are in MD, so lots of government jobs.

Another reason is that the blacks that are upwardly mobile are disproportionately the children of immigrants. Anytime I read a "black excellence" article I always check to see what country the parents are from and at least 50 percent of the time the parent is foreign born.

I just read The Other Wes Moore where the author wonders why he made it and another guy named Wes Moore is doing life in prison. The author's mother was born in Jamaica.

You should read 'Outliers: The Story of Success' Malcolm Gladwell.

help fight to change unequal marriage laws and we will

No. If BM think the marriage laws are unequal to them. Then that's a fight that they should organize themselves.

Not true at all. This generation of youth are on track to be the first in more than a century to be materially less well off in adulthood than their parents.

But any.. gotta agree with Poitier.

shyt isn't going to be getting better for the younger generations in this country, irregardless of race.
Blacks just happen to be in the first cart on this usa roller-coaster ride to hell. So we get hit first...

however.. we're not gonna be the ones who get hit the hardest :mjpls:
