He straight lied and said some Black and Latin kids came to the neighborhood previously and was starting trouble. No one else ever mentioned that. It was basically some dude upset his Italian ex-girlfriend is now fukkin' a Black dude and he let his imagination run wild with that fact. That started all the trouble. Fear of the Black man's dyck syndrome. :pacspit:

:salute:

Easily the realist post in here
probably because most of these comments are coming from millennials that have no idea what life was without social media, camera phones, Internet etc. etc. shyt is pathetic

The fukk would people really think a radio station is going to do their due diligence of major background checks for somebody who was just answering telephone calls and being a broad op - Major background checks were only for jobs like in the Hospital, Law Enforcement, Schooling anything to do with basically elderly, children in Law

This...

In 1994, I strongly, strongly doubt that Funkmaster Flex, Angie, Ed Lover, Dr. Dre, etc., etc. are seein' some random kid walkin' around the station, and they jump on the dial-up computer to work some shyt called "the internet" to find out what his story is, or remembering him as a small-fry defendant in a murder from 5 years prior... nor that people like Ebro are meeting him 20-25 years later and being like "hmmm... he looks familiar"...

I don't doubt that SOMEBODY knew, but if nobody's askin' and nobody's tellin', it's probably easier than people think for it to fly under the radar all this time. Everything in the world didn't always have a link. There was a time that you'd have to do some serious digging to find some shyt out about someone that they weren't tellin' you about.

Easier to fly under the radar doing that in the 90s than now.

The nikka from The Central Park 5 did a bid came home and still couldn’t get anyone to hire him because every potential employer knew him from that shyt but nobody in the building was able to recognize that lil Italian. Don’t tell me about the fukking Internet man

:mjlol:

Yeah, cause five black kids who were ALL OVER national news, like every damn day... is definitely the same as a lowkey accomplice that got community service for something that wasn't as publicized... which of course is the result of media and who they decide to persecute the most, but still... that's not even equivalent. I could see if he was THE GUY that got the press for the murder, but this lil' MF?

Y'all nikkas be so busy tryin' to be the smartest person in the room about anything, y'all throw logic out the window just to have a "gotcha" moment, :mjlol: MFs literally tellin' y'all, an internship or whateverthefukk at a radio station in the early-90s is likely NOT doing background checks nshyt like that... but here go y'all: "thats bullshyt they coulda googled him!"

you bringing up CP5 being a national story like Yusef and the dust Al was kicking up wasn’t lol

both stories got crazy pub in the city they occurred in. The only difference is honkeys jammed up homie everywhere he went 10 years later and the lil Italian got a job 3 years later

no matter how you slice it this didn’t go unnoticed during his tenure with the station hence why Ebro saying he “spoke to him about it 10 years ago”. Ebro isn’t from ny so clearly somebody else put him on so who knows how many were privy for how long

both were defendants in high profile cases where race was an issue were they not?
Both were in the paper and on the local news were they not?

you tryna to kick knowledge glue sniffer?
