It’s actually amazing he he has done what he has done over his career. Pittsburgh is racist as fukk. Best believe if he had ONE subpar season below 500 the fans would be physically trying to run him out of town.

They are WAITING for any reason but Tomlin has not given them any. I believe he is willing his teams to winning records just to spite the racist fans :mjlol:

A defensive HC whose defense gets embarrassed every year :wow:

Even the year they won that one title the defense gave up the lead with less than 5 mins to go but the offense saved their ass:wow:

Had they drafted a QB during Ben's final years they wouldn't be in this position. I don't understand why they chose not to draft one....as Ben was clearly on his way out anyway. Were they worried about hurting his feelings or what?

Exactly

You would think they learned their lesson but they didn't

Look how long it took them to replace Terry Bradshaw

He wasn't replaced until they drafted Rothlisberger :mindblown:

Yup. Even in his later years Ben was a crybaby. He was super pissed they drafted Mason Rudolph as a third round pick who was not there to compete

Ben was hating on Picket and wanted him to fail his rookie year despite not even being on the team anymore. I am a Ben fan but he acted like a overgrown diva at times

Steelers need to take more risks to get a QB. They are wasting Tomlin/Watt/etc. They should also be willing to eat a bad season / true rebuild.

This was a bad season for the Steelers. They benched Trubisky/Pickett and fired the OC. That is dysfunction.

They also need to figure something long-term out at OC. It'll always be tough filling the OC spot since Tomlin doesn't call offensive plays and OCs tend to get poached.

Probably the safest job in the league.

Tomlin ain't going anywhere unless they start missing the postseason yearly (a good 2-3 season drought). As long as he's able to produce 9-10 win seasons and make 1-and-dones in the postseason.

Otherwise, the only way he's gone is if he wants out.
