Hate to say it but the worst is yet to come,doubling down on this roster is gonna cost this team dearly and ur about to see it this OFF SEASON.
Prepare for them its gonna take him 2-3 seasons to clean this mess up....If you trade OG and Siakam for packages and picks that means u dont give up next years 1st for Poeltl which means ur not into the luxury tax next year,you have a legit shot at Scoot plus maybe Shaedon Sharpe and a bunch of other young players......Masai and Bobby misread this team so badly you cant go back to that "trust Masai" foolishness again.

Nikkas get fooled by that one game every 2 weeks where he has 25 points on 56 % and locks Harden up....then the next 5 games hes back to 12 PPG...
He never does it over a stretch of 15-20 games....You just saw in the play in he scored 13 and played awful defense most of the 2nd half,he didnt look engaged at all.....those people that defend him having a bigger role in this fanbase id spit in there fukkn eyes.
The way I look at Masai is he should be getting blasted for the moves he didn't make and some of the trades he made.
Trades we didn't make
1. he turned down Maxey for Lowry because he also wanted Thybulle who is not even a good player
2. Turned down OG trade to Portalnd who were willing to give up Shaedon Sharpe
3. Failure to trade away Fred and start the path of rebuild. There was no need trying to get into the play-in with this roster because it's been proven this roster doesn't work
Trades we made
1. Trading away a 1st for Thad and drafting Koloko when they could've been Kessler who is a better player
2. Trading away a top 6 protected for Poeltl like wtf was that? If you're going to do that trade then put much better protection like a lottery protection or even top 10, but top 6 protection is a boneheaded move
3. Signing a bunch of bums to the roster and sticking with certain talents too long
4. 6'9" master of none fetish set the franchise back many years
5. Failure to sign a shooter and waiting too long to get an actual center
Anyways, the list can go on and on, but Masai failed the team since we had our Tampa seasons. All of the stuff above happened since the 2021 season, and we can't even blow up the team next season since Spurs own our pick with weak protection.
