I don't know how you lose this series after winning game 5 at home. I'm tuning out of basketball till next season, just waiting for the World Cup.

I said at the beginning of the series if you dont win the banner dont mean shyt the season dont really mean shyt and you have to look at changes and nothings changed...Winning 48 games and getting HC means zero if you do nothing with it...Im not one of these moral victory people on this great season we overachieved bullshyt...That sentiment shoulda been gone in January...

For me this was a failure and i expected to be in the 2nd round....Dont come back with the same team next year...You played well in 3 of the 7 games in the series and down the stretch your defense was awful...

Miss me with that moral victory crap...This aint 97 anymore...

DATS what im saying breh...You in the drivers seat...with 2/3 at home if you a real team with testes you shouldnt lose the series, only pretenders and teams full of fakkits blow that opportunity.

To me this season was a fail...

Agreed. TBH I think this was the Raps best opportunity to make any sort of run right now. Take a look at the Wiz for comparison, a team with a similar surprise season, yet took complete advantage of their series and matchup luck. Way too often squads look back at surprise years like this one in regret at what might've been.

shyt take the Knicks last year. Won the Atlantic Division, had 50 wins, got to the second round. Came back with the same team minus a few scrubs and it was an absolute disaster.

the great thing for raptors though is that they are young

jonas will improve and should be a 15-17ppg and 10 rebounds nexzt year.

Yep you never know what will happen the following year you have to take advnatage in the moment...

You had homecourt and a 3-2 series lead...i dont understand where the moral victory comes in...
I hate that about this organization and fanbase, its always about tomorrow..old adage is tmw is not guaranteed...

If Jonas doesnt improve his defensive accumen his stats will be meaningless to this team cuz theyll never get anywhere until he starts taking defnese serious...

few things wrong with that comparison.

1. Val is one of the best young bigs in the league and unlike the Knicks center, isn't HIV positive.

2. the Raptors second best player isn't some volatile cokehead only capable of capable consistent, winning basketball in small stretches.

3. the Raptors didn't depend on a host of :flabbynsick: vets on their way out this season.

its the same mentality for all toronto teams

look at the leafs if you follow hockey the leafs never won anything yet always kept the core, guys like darcy tucker who sucked were kept because they played a "blue collar" game

I could see this team missing the playoffs next season esp if anyone has any sig injury time...His point is a good one, take advantage of the moment...

His Knicks reference was a good one,won 50 games assumed theyd be back and look what happened.
This feel good stuff is non sense, your up 3-2 at home..this we did more than expected is loser talk to save you from the fact you choked a situation few teams do in the NBA...
