Exum is gonna be good. He's got a good feel for the game in transition, finding open seams and pushing tempo. Just needs to physically mature. Utah's got something brewing, they're like Orlando but a little bit further ahead. Favors/Kanter/Gobert are talented but the fit is awkward.
In the middle of the game the gameplan became to just attack Trey Burke in the post. He did some good things but looks like a solid backup not a starter. I was sitting a few rows behind the Raps bench for this game and could see Casey telling the team to penetrate and dish after DeMar forced a couple of shots up on drives. The team settled down after that. Hayward looked really tired and frustrated in this game.
James Johnson hurt his ankle, hopefully he's good to go against Memphis, we will need his rebounding. Vasquez bounced back a bit, you could see how relieved he was when he hit his first 3.
DeMar bounced back with a 50+% shooting night for 27 points after going 7-for-32 in the last 2 games. Ross didn't do much but had a nasty alley-oop finish that brought the crowd into the game. Valanciunas put up 17 and 14 with 2 blocks. We'll need him against Memphis so hopefully he can carry this over.
