Boone has to go and they need to trade some of the players. I never seen a yankee team with faces that seem so uncomfortable and shook by the moment. They got to get some more guys who have won it all before.

Dont trade Judge, and yeah get better pitching. It’s always the pitching that kills them in the end.

Yanks making it to the WS insures they will be around for awhile. lol
Frankly if Juan Soto has any sense he will play elsewhere in 2025.

He has to see clearly that the Yankees only had 2 players worth a damn in that lineup and he was one of them.

And the free agent market is weak, so there is no real opportunity to bolster this roster.

If they offer the most $ he'll stay. But the whole Soto sweepstakes is going to put Hal on the spot.

Rizzo, Soto, Cole have won. They have that experience. I think they need to go young and get some energy/hunger in the lineup. Whenever the Yanks play their young guys it's a more exciting brand of baseball.

Hal is a cheapskate and doesn't care about winning like his father did.

He just wants the Yankees to force Game 5 for the ticket sales.

Hal Steinbrenner, Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman can all fukk off.

I'm done with NY sports for now. I'm not supporting all these expensive ass teams that can't do shyt. Except for the Rangers and Liberty this is a fukking embarrassment.

If they lose he can't be a cheapskate. It will look real bad. But maybe he is so cheap he doesn't care about that perception? I doubt it but possible.

Here is what would need to happen...

He would need to give Soto at least a 500M deal and probably closer to 600M because there WILL be a bidding war.

Even if you assume something wild like a 14 year deal, the Yankees are looking at an additional 10-20 million dollars more per year just for Soto alone. He made 31 million this year and you gotta figure Boras is gonna try to get 50M and negotiate from there.

On top of that, you have to win the bidding for Munetaka Murakami whenever he comes out. And that's probably gonna cost a team 20 million per year.

Plus the Yankees have to find a 1B.
And they have to find long term solutions at the middle infield spots because Gleyber and Volpe suck dikk. Probably one of those spots is filled in free agency and the other via the farm system.

But it's hard to see the Yankees being a real contender unless Hal is prepared to go into the 350M+ range in payroll.

And by the way, the Yankees already are paying 70M more than the Dodgers are right now.

Signing Soto will go a long way to keeping the perception that Hal is a good owner. After that there are a million ways to skin a cat.
Damn, niqqaz giving up on Volpe already?! I always thought he was overrated but he has yet to reach his full potential which is an above avg. major leaguer. He's not the problem. What about Rice, Dominguez and Cabrera? I think you give guys like that more playing time and sell off some expensive guys for younger talent (Cole, Rodon, Chisolm, Verdugo) and actually be patient and develop that talent.

Volpe is a bum.

Look,
If you can't hit for power, you gotta hit for average.

And Volpe can't do either.
He sucks.
