I like the "ONE CHILD" restriction/limit they have on couples tho. I think we need that here. Too many mfos here have children and let them run wild with no discipline or effort to "RAISE" them into citizens suitable for society. If you only have one you take better care and put more effort into it

But see welfare should be a backup support system. Not a default "here take care of your kids" fund.

Personally i think the welfare system should be a loan system where you are expected to pay back some of it eventually. Even if it's 10% of what you were given.

And it should be harder when it comes to who qualifies. I know mofos making good money getting $800 a month in food stamps. The sonOfAbytch pushing Lexus trucks and talking shyt but getting paid under the table and applies for welfare to feed his 4 kids

If this happens in America, how the hell is a single mother going to have money to raise the child, and pay the fine when she's probably receiving government benefits for the child as an infant?

Where is the money going to come from and what's gonna happen if she doesn't pay fine; Are they going to lock her up, and have the child raised by the state?

If they fine the broad, then what happens to the deadbeat who's not contributing to the child's life financially?

Have any of yall studied "welfare" (now TANF)? This whole myth of the welfare queen should really be done at this point. Like welfare reform happened in 1996. Family incomes of those on poverty tend to hover around the poverty line.

Anecdotes about random friends of yours who are making "good money" on welfare are in DIRECT CONFLICT with EXTENSIVE DATA. Simply put, they're not representative of the norm.

Now, back to the topic--I don't know how effective fining out of parents of out of wedlock children would be but, more likely than not, it would just lower the incomes of these families; making it so that they are able to provide even fewer opportunities for their children.
