New shyt is cool IF you can find it breh, I feel you......But at times like this just go back and listen to some of the shyt you may have missed out on or been meaning to check out at some point, so much history in this hip hop shyt. What/Who do you fukk with? Regions? Styles? Sometimes you think you done heard it all, go back and discover some bangin artists that slipped under your radar......I'll try n post some shyt depending on what you fukk with. We should all be tryna put each other up on new shyt, old, undiscovered, etc.

exactly. i made like 1 or 2 threads on this topic for people to list old joints that theyre going back and listening too.. both threads flopped but the point still stands.

drought times like these are made for going back and coppin albums that you always wanted but never got around to coppin.

that and of course discovering older music that you didnt pay much attention to and/or never even heard of at all.

whoa whoa. im not even talking about today's signed rappers. mainstream hip-hop is dead, and most mainstream rappers today suffer from the same problems that i listed.

you shouldnt even strive to compare yourself to most of the signed rappers of today. cuz being better than them isnt even a compliment.

Another cat I usually check for who ALWAYS drop a solid is J-Live, didn't even know bruh dropped an album couple of months ago.
