Finally finished, I've never taken this long to finish a FF game (not a diss, but this is the first mainline FF since I had kids and it isn't covid times like Remake).

Dope, I'm turnbased gang so the action bored me a bit (and this game is just way too easy) but other than that it's a solid entry, worthy of the name.

I'll definitely NG+ and plat it someday, but with Tactica and Spidey2 and then Reload and Rebirth etc it'll be some time before I come back to it.

Best Final Fantasy protagonist and storyline in a long time. Shame the game was TOO easy, had no real RPG elements, and the side quests were a chore to deal with. The Eikon boss fights were visually some of the best sequences I've seen in gaming in quit a while even though lots of it was just hitting a button lol. Loved the end sequences even though the ending was depressing.
