Or they could have released their true vision from the beginning rather than doing it in bits and pieces. They made the exact same mistakes with KH3, so they obviously didn’t learn their lesson the first time.

Unfortunately what’s out is the “true vision” that they planned and there won’t be anymore content outside of the Re:Mind DLC

You’ll need to get the Re:Mind DLC or watch the cutscenes on YouTube to help explain/expand upon the final act of the base game.
Collect the lucky emblems as you progress through each world as it’s over 90 of them to collect.
What part of the story does the dlc take place kn
The latter half of the game after you complete all Disney worlds and make it to the keyblade graveyard. It explains and fills in the gaps for what happens during those events that wasn’t explained/expanded upon in the base game.
I don't know why they can't find a way to just inject this dlc into the main story
They won’t admit it, but I think that there was development issues/rushed development involved. Re:Mind DLC is pretty much a rehash of the base game answering questions and filling in the gaps of what they didn’t answer before.
It could have used an extra year of development time if we’re being honest, but he insists that it’s his grand vision and they have moved on to the next game, so it will just have to suffice.

Since it’s over the course of at least a few years? Absolutely
this isn’t aimed directly just at you so no disrespect, but I’m not sure why people are acting like they have made the full game already, and are cutting that already made game into four pieces to sell to us at different times with each part being full price, each part is a Full game, it’s no different than the people who drop 60 on COD or Assassins creed every year or two

I’m more so wondering will they actually see out the vision for the game even if any of the parts don’t meet their sales expectations. SE has been known for having lofty and at times unrealistic sales expectations for their games.
It’s a fair question to ask.
It is, but it also has nothing to do with what you typed about sales?
I’m just saying, look on any comment section to do with any trailer for this game, they’ll always be at least a few morons claiming that SE are trying to rip them off because they’re selling this in parts, as if it’s an exact port content wise as the original, like this is about to be a 5 hour game or something.
I’m not the one who made the original point about $60 a piece for 4 different parts. I don’t think that they are ripping off fans necessarily as they are essentially building the game again from the ground up.
What I do question though is do they have an outline for how parts do they think it will take to fulfill their vision for the game, how long between each release and will it actually be completed even if it doesn’t hit their projection targets.
