Its more about the lines imo and fishing with the least amount of tension or it tear the lines faster.
Usually after a big one I have to switch the lines out. It takes awhile too but basically as soon as the tension thing lights up just let it go and let the fish get some slack while turning it in the direction its telling you. Then reel after the tension shyt stops. It might take a couple times and it takes awhile to catch big ones.

14. I ran through the story though. By the time I was on the 14th chapter I was at maybe 40 hours. Spent the last couple days leveling up.
Ohhh, then I'm fairly close to the end. I've spent a fair amount putting hours into trying to level up.

I enjoy hunting though and leveling up my guy enough to where the hunts are easyLeveling up so tedious. On level 43 currently. I completely stopped going on missions that move the story forward and do side missions like errands and hunting.
Go hunting, kill everything that I come across, finish my hunt and head back. I make sure to fight enough to build up my EXP by the time it's time to rest so I can level up. Also helps me collect more treasures to sell. After I get my money for my hunt I go to the store, sell my treasures, buy food, restock on potions, go to sleep, repeat.
I spent a large portion of my time on hunts instead of the story. Dungeons are fugazi but I think you can add more and theyre adding more story either this week or next.
Theres supposed to be another game mode as well

Chapter 13 is going to be the longest peice of shyt chapter ever.
I'm on 14 but I been bullshytting and going on hunts instead of actually finishing that story. My goal is to at least be a 50 before I completely finish

Dope game, but not in the upper echelon of Final Fantasy games for me, with 6 and 7 ranking higher to me. I got like 5 more trophies left to get plat in this game. Will probably get those

Never buying a new triple A game digitally again. This shyt is so boring. I thought theyd put their own twist on open world style. Hell no. The only piff is the u turn, graphics, character, creature and world design. Dont mean to be a harsh critic but this shyt not fun. Dont get me started on the statsis bullshyt.
