Leveling up so tedious. On level 43 currently. I completely stopped going on missions that move the story forward and do side missions like errands and hunting.

Go hunting, kill everything that I come across, finish my hunt and head back. I make sure to fight enough to build up my EXP by the time it's time to rest so I can level up. Also helps me collect more treasures to sell. After I get my money for my hunt I go to the store, sell my treasures, buy food, restock on potions, go to sleep, repeat.

I'm on the same type of cycle but just to add; I run through enough missions to get around 40-50,000 exp then stay at the hotel that doubles you exp. So I'm bumping my guys with 80-100,000 exp when I finally rest and the next batch of side missions aren't difficult with that kinda leap in levels and abilities.

40 - 50k??? :wtf:

How sway?

How many days do you keep your guys up

Every time I get 10k I get nervous that I'll lose it from dying so I always cash out

Also, I ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere and pushing takes way too long :snoop:

I've had to resort to using my chocobo for long distance, is there not a towing service I can call?

My dude's go a few days easy with no rest, but I always hit a diner for a meal to add bonuses and I always have chocobo on deck to make a quick retreat. When I get higher up in exp, I stop battling and fast travel to collect the exp from missions I completed or go at whatever fishing mission is on deck...I hate fishing in the game, not good at it but I wanna complete everything so I could end up fishing from dusk till dawn tryna catch whatever fish they want me to get. My psycho hording has me loaded with mega phoenix and mega elixers too, so as long as I'm cautious in battle I'll usually be good to keep stacking exp.

Chocobo is the way to go. Plus you can level up your chocobo, and it just feels more like final fantasy usin em instead of the car. More freedom too.

I use them the majority of the time but when I need to travel from town to town the car helps

Just use magic with high level exp cast and make sure you have 100% exp boost and then stay at Atissa for triple exp.

You can probably save that for after you beat the game.

After racking up a whole bunch of exp, I went from level 59 to level 91

Using magic is actually difficult for me and I don't like that it effects my teammates either. But I'll start using it more often. Mfs better get out my way.

Honestly the hunting/fighting the same creatures (I'm looking at you Red Giant) gets extremely repetitive. And this is from a person who likes grinding in D3, BL2 and WItcher 3. But the way you grind in 15 is so ruthlessly annoying that I just get bored and move on. Fight's shouldn't take more than 5 minutes, especially if its a trash mob. I think Squeenix dropped the ball on making every fight a "team fight". Some times I just want to knock some trash mobs out, head to town and take a break, within a 10 minute span of course.

Cut into the fact that, you're going to be seeing the same animations repreatedly, and you're in for some eye rolling, face palming, yawning action. And yes, I get it, all games are repetitive, but its how you make them repetitive that either keeps me going, or makes me turn the console off.

Played for six hours yesterday

I got tired of the hunting and fighting the giants. I went ahead and moved forward with the story and traveled to Atissa where I fought that large sea monster goddess bytch

Fight took waaaaaaay too long and they didn't give me anything close to what I deserved in EXP :martin:

On top of that, imma be honest, the story is extremely boring so I'm not paying a lick of attention to it, I'm playing for the stats, but I had no idea Ignis lost his sight. I was about to head out on another mission and the prompt asked me if I wanted Ignis to stay behind or come with me. I brought him along because why not and I upgraded all their weapons, cost me 25k gil.

Then I start my mission and get told to slow down because of Ignis. That's when I noticed his white cane and go
"This motherfukker is blind...." :gucci:

:mindblown:

The fukk is he here for??!!!
He better be able to use those new daggers I bought him

*goes into battle and he's useless*

Welp
