Its so obvious they releasing a patch. Now thats garbo because I bought the game day one and already beat it, and I'm not about to play through it again just to see the extra content I'll just yt it.

the patch that's coming out isn't going to cover all the shyt that got cut out

according to the leak the game had to come out this year no questions asked because of some form of contractual obligations that were set before tabata even assumed the role of director

I been trying to tell people that this game has only been in development for 3-4 years. Versus XIII was canceled and they reused elements of it including announced characters and some plot details for XV. People were still saying this game has been in development for 10 years. This is a different game altogether. Also I believe the stuff that dude is saying about the game having to ship this year and all the cut content especially towards the end of the game.

It's obvious that this game wasn't finished and when development had gone on long enough the bigwigs at the company told them to get it to a shippable state. Because of that most of the end of the game was left on the cutting room floor.

There's an update from a leak from six months ago. I didn't read it but I see folks saying there was a lot taken out. Seems like the game that was shipped was a cliffnotes version.

all he saying is shyt was rushed and they had a deadline before tabata took over... tons of cut content such as a playable area that would most likey be in chapter 12 before 13.... how noctis used his weapons in versus 13 was that each weapon was a crystal of dead family members, in the final chapter they had more playable content that was cut because they had to get the game out there.

The game centered about death, ghosts and hallucination/dreams. Noctis killed the female protagonist before the game started but he didn't remember. Ardyn was Noctis ancestor and he was responsible of the crystals disappearing over time (the only one left was Lucis crystal). Regis died in front of Noctis because his bodyguards betrayed him. The protagonists had to leave the capital because their nation lost the war.

The game didn't focus on summons that much (they still existed) and instead there were actual gods which didn't appear physically. One of the gods was the main antagonist of the first FF game. Each nation was inspired by a different capital of the world. The empire was using ghosts as weapons. Ravus wanted to kill Noctis for having killed her sister. The game ended in another dimension which was supposed to be their version of the after-life.
