The darker theme was better. I think Tabata is a homosexual which had to much influence on what this game was supposed to be.

WHy did they fire the OG director again?

Head of Square Enix was sick of his laziness and wanted the game to be done, so they dropped him and got Tabata to hurry things along and go nuts.

The silver lining is that Nomura out of frustration went on to go forward with developing Kingdom Hearts 3 and FF7 Remake.

I'm having fun playing the game, but it is WAAAYYYYY to easy, all you have to do is stock up on potions and maybe a few pheonix down's and you're set. Last time i died was doing that mission where you had to search the dungeon behind the waterfall, and that was just because i had like 4 potions.

Just look at the FF7 remake.. Being released in full price episodes. This straight up rape. A game that originally came out on 4 disc for the price of one. Times are changing and not for the good.

Versus XIII was a side project they had a small team working on during a period when Square had a bunch of issues going on. When they brought the new director on they scrapped the old game and started XV on a different platform. I honestly question if Versus XIII even went into full blown development with a full team before it was scrapped.

XV used stuff from Versus XIII to save face. Square didn't want to upset fans by announcing they canceled Versus so they repurposed characters and assets from it for XV. They used the same logo, many of the same characters, and the music. The original logo was Etro wat they said the logo was at the end of the game didn't even exist in Versus XIII.

But we never got red eyed Noctis, which is more badass. I stopped at chapter 13 and there are only 14 chapters. I'm at the end of the game dumbass.

Yes that's in the game when a summon happens. I remember they made this big deal about Noctis being able to see people's impending death with his eyes and that never really factored into XV.
