Should have never made that stupid ass movie and put all that development into the game. My God if Kings glaive was the playable prologue before the game we have now.

Ah well game still fire though.do your fukking side missions and beast hunts and u can't see how you'd hate the game. The world has alot of shyt to see

I like the game tho? Or am I misinterpreting what you wrote? My bad

You still don't get it and the fact that you trying to grind level on FF8 of all games proves it.

The game scales to you. If you're level 5 at the end, the boss is level 5. :camby:
Real FF8 players finish the game at under level 15 while abusing the junction system :smugbiden:
Seriously, who the fukk grinds on FF8? :mjlol: dude exposed himself with that stupid shyt

Put that ultima on your STR and you're 9999'ing everything you fight.

:heh: Breh you realize in 8 the enemies leveled with you, so getting to a higher level just made the game harder :demonic:

Anyway, I finished the game last night. To me it was worth my 40 hours. Game felt like a Final Fantasy, all the homages to previous games gave me that nostalgia.

Am I interested in post game content? Honestly not really. :manny: Not unless theres sidequests with actual story shyt happening rather than just beating super bosses. Dont care.

And finally even though I like this game I want a more basic classic overworld for 16, turn base, and more towns/dungeons. :manny:
yeah at the end of the day I enjoyed what I played thoroughly but in retrospect I wanted more. Its a lot of shyt that with a few tweaks could have made this 9/10 game and not a 7.5 range. The narrative was all over the place, battle system was mash, use potion, repeat. and the quests were really pointless considering you do the same thing for every battle. But I still enjoyed it, but I can't see me giving SE more of my money to see shyt that should have been included like what happened when gladious left etc. Its a flawed but enjoyable game and what that fukk boy who kept quoting me didn't realize is that people have been literally fiening for this joan for ten years. I was a sophomore when they unveiled this shyt. So for me to get the end product and its merely an above average game is grounds for criticism.

See for me I wasnt anticipating it for 10 years so thats prob why I didnt mind the flaws as much. After XIII the series was dead to me. All the previews leading up to this game made it look like trash. I came in with seriously low expectations so I guess thats what makes it aight to me.

For me it really seems like them playing on my nostalgia is what got me in terms of the story. Having it being all about the classic summons and getting their powers, n other lil and bigger things that gave nostalgia (no spoilers) really added to it for me. The ending was a lil all over the place, but I was surprised at how well they handled the main cast overall, thought it would be super lame and corny and it wasnt.

I actually think the story is a dope ass classic FF tale. The way they told the story however, was straight trash. I couldn't follow it at all.. seemed liked they cut a bunch of shyt out because of time constraint's. It wasn't until the final chapter and reading some spoilers that I fully grasped what was going on. That's a bad look.

They told it like a MMO story, super rushed with no development for characters other than the bros. I think it comes down to the campaign being 20 hours. They couldn't fit it all in I guess and they couldn't push this game back anymore. What's going to bother me for years with this game is just the missed potential.

Chapter 7 is what the entire games identity should've been.

See you right. overall it was right there for the story to be a classic. villian came together nicely. but they decided to go the Dark Souls route of story telling when the Lore of Dark Souls is ten times more fleshed out than this. And Ch.13 was one of the most effective ways to make me hate a villian despite how utterly garbage it was to play through. Its real bad when the main campaign is a LIGHT 20 hours. because I took my sweet time and at the end after spending at least 10 hours doing side shyt, and leaving my console on I barely scraped thirty. Thats not acceptable for a game thats been in the oven for this long. Especially considering a lot that time is literally driving around. I said it before but the need to make everything open world nowadays is ruining gaming because a lot of that shyt becomes nothing more than busy work and an excuse to not weave a stable narrative. shyts wack and same thing happened in mgs5. Hell I would have took a 10 hour linear ff15 if the shyt was filled with lore, storytelling, epic set pieces etc. but instead we get a hours of driving around rural texas...sigh

level aint really a big deal. Theres not one fight in here other than the boss of ch.13 that is gonna make you even think of seeing the game over screen.
