Wrong. They side missions take you to parts of the world you'd ignore which lead you to impressive monsters you'd never find.

There's a dungeon with no monsters in it that's full of nothing but treasure. If you can reach the end there's a hood you can obtain that will dodge all enemy attacks.. Bout to be there for a while this morning. Only way to reach the secret dungeon is by flying..
