It all circles back to games, you can’t grow the platform, whether its hardwares or subs without compelling content

Thats why you see microsoft doing all these goofy marketing schemes like selling hoodies for controllers, and nail polish, etc. they need to find a way to get people talking about their console because they dont actually have big games to market with it.

When sony is marketing their system they are marketing prestige titles with it..



Right now, xbox is just not associated with big quality games, its associated with “deals” and “value”, things most people just dont give a shyt about. It’s like how many people go out and talk about the clothes they bought at Burlington coat factory?

Its no mystery why the 3rd year into the console generation Microsoft is now starting to bundle Forza Horizon 5 with it. It’s literally the only big hit game they’ve put out that still has value enough to bundle

Why don't I know the total of the numbers? All they had to do in the last 13 months was release an update to them? They've released quarterly reports and given updates before. When they were hitting their metrics they gave frequent updates. Suddenly that's gone radio quite. Them releasing updates to Game Pass has nothing to do with Sony. As an investor of Microsoft I should be updated on that.

The difference between me and you is you're only backed by your own delusions. I'm backed by reality when I say their service isn't all that attractive to the average customer. That's why they've failed to hit their subscriber growth 2 years in a row and their growth is stagnating to the point they don't even put out numbers anymore. When you as a company get to set your own goals and you can't reach them that's indicative of a problem.

My argument is their service is a disappointment and isn't reaching it's full potential. I'm posting actual proof via the fact that they can't hit their customer targets. You call it moving the goal post.

You do the same stuff over and over again. Make some outlandish point nobody but you or a Microsoft stan would agree with and when beaten on it you either double down, say the goal post are being moved, or say Sony Stans .

The goal post are in the same position they've always been in. The company isn't delivering. Everybody knows why even if you won't admit it even you know.
