WWF increased its attendance 71.7% over the previous year, increased television ratings 48.9% and increased PPV buy rates 67.2% (from an 0.61 average in 1997 to a 1.02 average), sold out 33.5% of its house shows as compared with 16.7% last year, and averaged $188,482 gross per house show as compared with $94,562 last year, an increase of 99.3%.
