Gotta love the American grandstanding with this story :mjlol:

A place where the NCAA operates with reckless abandon, cops kill nikkas like its a sport, and what do they do go after Fifa.

Good on you Loretta Lynch! :pachaha:

It's been obvious Brazil has been run by Nike for a minute. Brazil, given the lack of the money, has way too many issues, Nike might be the least of their worries. Germany has the same relationship with Adidas, in fact instructing all players they have to wear Adidas.

Regarding Sepp, Outside of a big mouth and poor management, he hasn't been that bad. He looked the other way but in regards to spreading the game and making the world cup way more popular he has done an incredible job. Women's football is actually a thing, something Europe and the rest of the world (excluding America) neglected. Blind and homeless football too, these have all become tournaments and part of the agenda.

Soccer is the people's game but it has exploded in the last 20 years because of people like Sepp and Jack Warner. It's an ugly truth. You have players from Africa, America, Asia, and the Caribbean using soccer as a vehicle to support their families, this didn't occur before.

This is all about increasing the sex appeal of your alphabet boys and a flex of US muscle. I admit I got moist as news of the raids broke but that "FIFA is the World Cup of fraud and we're showing it the red card" saw to that :snoop:

Sepp Blatter is the champion of the underdog, theres tiny football nations which keep the lights on due to payments he introduced, buy equipment for kids, more stuff...

Euro nations are tight because he's not bending over backwards for them like the guys in the past. They petty. The Irish even are still mad because he laughed at them for asking to be the 33rd team at the World Cup because of a bad call
:russ:

You aint getting World Cup 2022, Blatter is getting reelected tomorrow, anybody who rats on Blatter will come up missing, bye.

Simply the most embarrassing moment in the history of the most self-pitying nation in Europe.

Funniest part is they don't even know it
Blatter had stung Irish pride by S******ING when he revealed Ireland had sought to be included in the 2010 World Cup. The FIFA president said: “They asked very humbly, ‘Can’t we be team No 33 in the World Cup?’”

When that was greeted by laughter, Sepp wheezed: “They have asked for that! Really!”

Delaney later stuck the boot into the Swiss pensioner, fuming: “I think the way the president of FIFA behaved was an embarrassment to himself and an embarrassment to FIFA.”

Amid the fall-out from Ireland’s notorious play-off game in Paris, Delaney also revealed that the FAI had turned down the chance to receive a fair play award from FIFA.

Former Ireland assistant boss Liam Brady also launched a stinging attack on Blatter.

He said: “I was told they went to a private — a supposedly private — meeting with Mr Blatter and officials from FIFA. I believe they agreed that it would be confidential.

“I’m afraid Mr Blatter is a bit of a law unto himself. I thought he was very disrespectful in how he presented his facts.

“He totally ignored most of the controversial things that went on. He never had anything to say about Henry’s behaviour after scoring the goal and how that stands against his fair play campaign within the game.

“My country deserves a bit more recognition from Blatter. I think the man is a bit of a loose cannon and an embarrassment to FIFA.”

Blatter later tried to suck up to Ireland fans by suggesting the Boys in Green be given some sort of “moral compensation” — which hasn’t been heard about since.

sorry, but there are countless examples of fukk with the taxes and get fukked. Why you think a playoff all of sudden showed up in college football. Like I said, the US is about revenue. Fukk with the revenue, they fukk with you. Has nothing to do with cops killin brothas. Plenty of banks and other big companies have been run off the face of the flat earf.

NOTHING was gonna keep ronaldo from playing in that game

nike didn't have shyt to do with it, even if they tried to have shyt to do with it

Well, the doctors gave son the OK to go play; Zagallo himself didn't want to put him on. Granted he was awful that game and everyone else on the team was shook cause they had just seen him shaking on the floor having a seizure (picture your boy almost dying one night then showing up out of nowhere the next day like nothing happened), but, it is what it is. We ended up winning that bytch four years later anyway :manny:
