Breh, I seen that shyt when I went to Ferguson a week after it happened. You had a bunch of cacs down there talking about "Don't let Mike Brown's death be in vain, save the spotted owl and stop Monsanto from making genetically modified corn!"

I'm holding out until after the weekend to give my final thoughts
But you would be a blind man if you haven't noticed this being co'opted by everyone and their momma as the new trend "hands up" "I can't breath"
Walking with the police and yelling for Justice as you're being escorted by the police isn't the same as
The police on one side of the road and the people on the other (the 50s/60s.. The ferguson protests this summer)
This issue has been going on before the media sensationalized and began propagandizing it for ratings.
We're headed into an election season
All of these white people who want to be down and all of these blacks who want to yell at their oppressor for Justice need to form a PAC and get the group fund going for money to put behind one of these Presidental candidates and hold them accountable for addressing the issue

I ain't gonna lie.....our sister site LSA has been having some great discussions on all of this too...
And while i know Montell Williams isn't the best person to some to convey this message. Notice in this short video how they just went to their talking points and wouldn't even latch to what he was trying to say.
I know it's Fox News...but they have a large audience that thinks just like them and it's people like that chick above that need a reality check.
I'll be in DC this weekend before I give my final thought.

I was peeping through that john thread (with all the tricks) you all have in just bugging out section the other light just to get visual confirmation on who all the suckers were now that yall have gotten comfortable with speaking freely on the topic and the I sees that you're one of the johns.
How is it not possiable to get 100 signatures for a petition from the people one knows in real life? It's possiable when youre somebody with no respects.
Maybe if you spent less time cavorting in lust and more time turning yourself into a man that doesnt accept getting bytched youd get more accomplished.

I mean back in October we were preparing for more tear gas and military shyt and possibly violent response. and also for the general populace to just move on with their lives.... but it didn't happen that way.
Wanted institutionalized racism in the public conversation? Got it
Wanted the youth to wake up, got it
Wanted support for black owned business? Got it
Wanted police brutality and other shady dealings in mainstream conversation? Got it
Americans as a becoming hip to media brainwash? Got it
Not to say shyt is over or this is enough but a lot of you just sound mad that this didn't turn into something you'd hoped it be, be it entertaining ustreams, black people gunfighting with police or god coming down from heaven and turning white folks into slaves.
Like how you just gonna look at pics of large groups of people protesting in the dead of winter and just sum it up "they're not serious".
If you against the injustice be against the injustice. But don't try to make this something it aint. Go back a few years, people were begging for these causes to be acknowledged on this wide a scale by both black and white ppl.

I think the main problem is people are sick of just marching because if all this energy isn't turned into something tangible it will be a waste of effort.

And one officer get off and earn 400K because of a group me fund
Why can't we all raise that money and start a PAC. I'm pretty sure we can get behind whomever is running for office and bring our ideas to them with the money..
This isn't going to come down to marching and body cameras
It's about awareness and legislation now..
