Done.
It's failed and collapsing on itself...This is all the proof we need of this.I don't think its gonna be stopped this time. It just feels left like it's time to end this system.

do you consider this to be the beginning of a second black power movement??It's failed and collapsing on itself...This is all the proof we need of this.
It would. I know mad brothers and sisters feel like giving up cause they realized the am Erik khan dream was not for them...they tried and they failed. They had too much hope in this country when Obama got elected. Which makes me think of where we were collectively 6 years ago. We really thought things would change. Hope...change. hope died and things changed for the worse. And this is only a fraction of his support.
100's of thousands of dollars.
News, magazine, websites, fox news...the amount of media focused on destroying the image of Mike Brown while uplifting the image of Darren Wilson (And reporting on every bullshyt ass rumor that may have benefited him like orbital eye fracture).
A complete failure to educate people on the sheer audacity of the corruption in the Ferguson and StL counter area...
Politicians in the party that is *supposed* to be OUR party working to protect this guy....
And the sad thing is? We are only witnessing the mechanics of White Supremacy in..hmm...probably like 15% effect. We haven't seen NOTHING yet.
My fear right now is that we try to do to much after the announcement when we are little prepared for it. The people trying to give out gas mask and such are doing the lords work.
I just hope we are all in this for the long haul. As @9th Street just said it would be a shame if we just let this fizzle out and die.
do you consider this to be the beginning of a second black power movement??
The movements already been started. It just doesn't have that spark that will push it to the next level yet I think.do you consider this to be the beginning of a second black power movement??
it will once Darren's found not guiltyThe movements already been started. It just doesn't have that spark that will push it to the next level yet I think.
State Of Emergency, Pt 1 (11/17/14): Twitter reacts to the Governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon, declaring a state emergency in anticipation of the grand jury announcement for Darren Wilson. The National Guard of Missouri has been activated and will be on the ground in St Louis, ready to mobilize against protesters at a moment’s notice. This is oppression in action, but we will not be scared away.
Realest/realist shyt I ever read today. Too many black folks wanna stay ignorant cause they enjoy their bliss too much. Their ignorance will be their downfall.
Honestly, I'll tell you all a little something that happened two days ago. My mom and grandma were watching cnn...I asked my mom if there were any new developments on Ferguson being broadcasted on it (simply because I want to see how different the media portrays and reports this from that online). She said that the verdict would be announced in a couple of days. I told her about how I had been following the story online and told her they had tanks, over a thousand officers, homeland security, and Apache helicopters in the area at the moment
Her response? Dead silence. Almost as if she pretended not to hear me.
America is just not for us. This incident confirms we are still collectively as a people in bondage, if not physically...then spiritually and mentally.
I agree way too much with @Y2Dre it's time to get out of America.
To quote Kanye from "New Slaves"
"I'LL MOVE MY FAMILY OUT THE COUNTRY SO YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE I STAY!!!"
is it stupid to hold on to some little amount of hope that jury will do the right thing, knowing damn well that they wont send this shyt to trial?
justice is an extinct word in this world today
