Ferguson Corrections Officer Raped Woman In Jail, Lawsuit Alleges

A pregnant woman says she was raped in jail by a Ferguson corrections officer last year, according to a federal lawsuit filed Friday against the city and the officer, Jaris Hayden.

A Ferguson police officer arrested J.W. (whose full name is withheld from the suit) and wrote her two tickets after she gave him a false name, according to the suit.

During J.W.'s booking, Hayden said to her,"You smell good," and, "This will teach you a lesson," according to the suit.

J.W.'s boyfriend then posted bond, according to the suit, but while J.W. was signing papers, Hayden told her she had traffic warrants from other municipalities.

J.W. said, “I will do anything to go home,” according to the suit, which specifies she was not talking about sexual favors.

Hayden then said “follow me,” and took J.W.down various hallways, according to the suit.

Then, in the boiler room of the City of Ferguson jail, Hayden unbuttoned his pants, removed his penis, and said words to the effect of, “You gonna suck my dikk,”and motioned for J.W. to give him oral sex, according to the suit.

After taking J.W.farther back into the boiler room, Hayden had vaginal intercourse with J.W., and she did not resist “because she was afraid,” according to the lawsuit.

DNA analysis has confirmed that pubic hair captured by J.W. was from Hayden,according to the lawsuit, which seeks compensatory and punitive damages.

It's sooo much bullshyt. Most Ppl will only care when they hear the reports of national guard...thats it and wait to see something pop off. It's frustrating most dc and wont afterwards. The lack of in-depth coverage of Missouri's indecency and corruption. Samething in sanford Florida

Ppl only come to see the destruction they dont want hear numerous reports/information about the corruption, the institution..or the shyt that lead to this...etc

I just feel like now were at a crossroads to where this could be the spark for us to rise up or to just give up. That's the only reason why I can see their coming so hard on this, it's so blatantly obvious that they're covering up stuff, from the DA to FPD Chief (to the Governor). But the media outlets could give a crap though.

Honestly, I'll tell you all a little something that happened two days ago. My mom and grandma were watching cnn...I asked my mom if there were any new developments on Ferguson being broadcasted on it (simply because I want to see how different the media portrays and reports this from that online). She said that the verdict would be announced in a couple of days. I told her about how I had been following the story online and told her they had tanks, over a thousand officers, homeland security, and Apache helicopters in the area at the moment

Her response? Dead silence. Almost as if she pretended not to hear me.

America is just not for us. This incident confirms we are still collectively as a people in bondage, if not physically...then spiritually and mentally.

I agree way too much with @Y2Dre it's time to get out of America.
