It is because, since slavery, we were conditioned to believe in our inferiority. Whites were our captors and our caregivers, whipping us at the same time they fed us. That mentality has become ingrained, and blacks now try to reach for "equality" (who truly wants to be equal to these evil people??
) to prove that they are on the same level as whites. It's why they pushed for integration and it's why you see so many blacks wasting money on trinkets, in a never ending chase to show the world they "made it" and are equal to the white man. Why would we want to integrate with our enslavers?

1st of all how you can come to that conclusion based on 1 sentence from me. LOL. I'm far from Defeated. Being Black in America I've seen countless cops get off. It has no affect on me cause I know this playbook. I'm only stating what will happen. Also save the "Oldblack, Old rules, New Black" talk. I'm a post civil rights movement black american but my parents and grand parents lived the Civil Rights/Jim Crow era. If it explodes or not we will see. I see the protest but I haven't seen an "Explosion". The LA Riots was an explosion. Also it's not just "Whites" Buying it. I've seen blacks and other races buying. People believe what the media tells them, this isn't new. Look at Trayvon. What happen after that? Nothing. Again until I see the explosion, riots and protest then we can talk about change and revolution. Right now I see the typical media spin and a cop about to get off. This isn't old again.

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis County police confirm there has been a shooting near the intersection of Ferguson Road and Sharondale. The shooting occurred on Friday afternoon near the Park Ridge apartments.
The Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms say they are investigating a gun store burglary. Witnesses described seeing undercover officers sitting in their cars all day. One man says it appeared officers were waiting for someone.
Just after 3pm the witnesses described ATF agents closing in a blue Chevy. They opened fire as it collided with an unmarked police car. Agents shot at two suspects at the Park Ridge apartments after they said the suspects tried to ram a police vehicle.
Investigators towed the suspect’s Chevy car parked on the grass near the apartments. One person was taken away by a stretcher to the hospital by ambulance. Officer’s told the victim’s mother that he was injured by shattered glass. No word on the condition of the second person in the vehicle.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell interviewing Dr. Judy Melinek, who was one of the experts quoted in yesterday's Washington Post "leak" story. She was quoted saying Mike Brown was reaching for Wilson's gun. She now says her words were taken out of context.

The point is you can't legally work off the books in the US, no its not a choice.
What's legality when system in which it's based on is a farce, according to you? You do know every US soldier that's "terrorizing" (to use your word) the world is being paid from the same pot in which we pay our tax money into? Military can't function with our subsidization, i.e., tax dollars.
EDIT: lets not throw the thread off-topic though, you get the gist of what I'm trying to say though. Let's not shyt on our military folks, many of them are just trying to handle the circumstances presented to them the best way they can. I have many friends in the military and several of them know what they're signing up for but still would prefer to just serve their years with what they hope is the least amount of violence, possible.
