I disagree with you on this matter. Name the last popular black uprising in this country. You can't. Everything you are proposing has been done and shown to be ineffective. Even worse, it legitimizes white supremacy by lending credence to an illusion of progress. White America is armed to the teeth for ONE reason: they know that the only thing holding their power over us together is the fact we have not risen up. There is no other alternative to a violent and extremely bloody upheaval of the American system by black America.

Realest movement since I was born. I really mean that. I was born in 87 and the only thing comparable to this rise in consciousness and level of activism in my lifetime was maybe...Farrakhan's million man/millions more movement.

The majority of the media was only ever interested in this as spectacle. As soon as they got bored with it, they moved the fukk on.

And I can't reiterate enough : I haven't heard a leading Democrat mention this shyt for like a fukking MONTH. It's quite obvious how fearful they are of the November elections. And they should be, because with the amount of ****** wake-up calls over the summer, I think that many black people have been turned off from engaging in anything but racial politics for the time being. fukk a ISIS. fukk a global warming. fukk a immigration reform. But Obama is trying his best not to step outside the confines of his executive power. If he does, it will inflame hostilities all around the country. And that's not a bad thing from our perspective, but he's the president and he's thinking like one.

Also we gotta understand that office is for the most part just a place holder for corporate interests. It doesn't matter who's in power really, major US policy only changes slightly from president to president.

Its good to have a black face up there which is why I voted for Obeezy, but he can't do too much without the real powers JFK'ing him or something like that.
