He simply made a statement....He didn't say that there wasn't good work being done...But nah the prayer circles and marches aren't whats needed...Women of course will have an issue with him especially Feminist...He even has admitted on multiple occasions that there are a lot of people down in STL doing good work.

I agree with you, but i've seen people from STL and who been down there on twitter saying "fukk a prayer circle" and stuff like that. the protesting at the police station, was led by a group of people who weren't trynna hear preachers.

and that's good but the way it comes off is, he flew out there for a day or so when media was heavily there, threw antonio french a check, published a picture of that check online, left and then starting questioning and criticizing people down there building. it just comes off opportunist like and disrespectful.

if you remember back to when he went not that I'm following it was before the media got real big...Remember they didn't even want to discuss that until that Monday...On Saturday it seemed like on the-coli was up on it...When that radio station started playing somber music.

But the big thing is he hasn't said anything that is bad in my book in fact I really wish more brothers like him and sisters would of been involved in the Cincinnati Riots....We went out with a whimper. That brother French and that other sister can't think of her name now but she's a State Senator are putting in work.

My problem is the myopic view of some in Ferguson. This is bigger than them. Blacks in every city need to be organizing, mobilizing and using economics to our benefit. This was a wakeup call for a lot of Blacks but Tariq been preaching this.

Okay, but stuff like Tariq has been doing like critcizng those down there trying to build, while may be innocent and he means no harm, it gets people angry and on the defensive, especially because they've been there, organizing, trying to come up with a plan. and he shows up for a day or two, throws Antonio a check, leaves then criticizes people who are there trying to build and be very selective about who decides to snap back at (women, mostly) you don't see a problem with that?

i saw one of Tariq followers on twitter call a women whos been down there organizing, a bedwench for like no reason. that's not cool man.

people there are trying and working hard. rome wasn't built in a day.

How is it that you understand this but refuse to believe that we need to also arm ourselves?

You are still making a straw man. I am for arming ourselves but not acts of terrorism to incite fear in a larger, more militarized population :comeon:

Why are we worried about Tariq when Darren Wilsons supporters have raised over 500 stacks...Does the breh Antonio French have the information of the voting office he's doing anywhere for donations...I don't mean to disrespect Ferguson and the memory of Mike Brown but if we are successful in Ferguson it will set a Precedence and give us a format of what needs to happen and the steps needed. This tragedy in Ferguson looks like it is taking us as a nation in the right direction.

I agree, this is an important time in history.

Make a twitter! It's easy once you familiarize yourself with it.

Lets as thecoli get SOMETHING popping monetarily.

There's Mike Browns page on GoFundMe and then there is the #HealSTL thing Tariq donated to.
