I assure you its not as volatile as you think, and the potential gain far exceeds the potential losses, but yeah I can understand how silly it may look.
No, it's fukking stupid unless you feel like throwing small amounts of money at it for fun. :comeon:

Thought about copping some bud and edibles, but smartened up. A site that big was living on borrowed time.

Yea, that nikka shoulda closed shop LONG ago. I knew the gig would soon be up as soon as I saw nikkas talking about it on youtube and other mainstream websites.

Do people seriously think that the federal government DIDN'T already have a bunch of people watching the Deep Web?

It doesn't matter. It's hard as fukk to catch someone on the onion router if they know what they are doing. The only computer that can possibly access your original location is the end server that holds the information you are requesting. And even then, their are ways to get around that. Like others said, dude set the trap for himself long ago, just the fact that he would actually conduct an interview with fukking FORBES shows that his ego had bested him and it was only a matter of time. But anyhow, one goes down another one springs up. Then its cat and mouse all over again until the new mouse starts feeling himself and leave a trail of cheese for the cat to follow.

Support prohibition, brehs.:mjpls:

Number of black men and women rotting in prison thanks to the War on Drugs (as of 2011): 91,777 (out of 225,242 inmates convicted on drug offenses).
Number of black men and women jailed due to using bitcoin, TOR, or Silk Road: 0.

use bitcoin, brehs ! It's safe and secure!
Bitcoin is secure. SHA-256 encryption. The problem is that the big banks that paid for Obama's re-election don't like competition, and neither does their daddy the Federal Reserve. They are a monopoly. Monopolies hate competition.

They got rid of gold and they'll get rid of bitcoin. They went into Iraq the moment Iraq dropped the dollar in favor of the 'Petroeuro' to import/export petroleum. After a decade of war, Iraq is now back on the petrodollar. All it costs us, according to a Watson Institute study, was $1.7 trillion dollars (as high as $6 trillion when you factor in benefits for iraq war veterans) and thousands of American lives, and probably tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians. [According to Brown University, the cost of war: $2-3 trillion dollars, 134,000 iraq civilian casualties]

Support war for fiat dollars, brehs.

The American dollar is going to zero in a few years.
fixed that for you!

They traced back the early uses of the word "Silk Road" online back to accounts he had on various forums linked to his personal email and LinkedIn where he was asking for the assistance of programmers and trying to promote the network. just sloppy all around
An article I read stated that Google gave him up. Must be that PRISM magic.
Through records "obtained from Google", details of IP addresses - and therefore locations - used to log into Mr Ulbricht's account focused the search on San Francisco. Specifically, an internet cafe on Laguna Street.

I'm saying...anyone who "invested" in BTC is silly anyways. The shyt is volatile as fukk.
As long as you're not a degenerate gambler like this guy, you should be good.

Stocks in 2013 :russ::bryan::lolbron::jawalrus::pachaha:

Hope you have a fiber optic connection or something, the stock market is even more fixed than the bitcoin game.

Just last week this happened:
Last Wednesday, the Fed announced that it would not be tapering its bond buying program. This news was released at precisely 2 pm in Washington “as measured by the national atomic clock.” It takes 7 milliseconds for this information to get to Chicago. However, several huge orders ($600m) that were based on the Fed’s decision were placed on Chicago exchanges 2-3 milliseconds after 2 pm. How did this happen?

http://www.hangthebankers.com/insid...milliseconds-after-fed-decision-not-to-taper/

The con was so obvious that the Attorney General of New York state opened an anonymous hotline he called "insider trading 2.0" for tips on the high speed insider traders. I'm sure they're going to call in and reveal themselves :skip:

Make no mistake, the online drug black market is a hydra and Silk Road just happened to be the one head that was spitting the hottest flames. Chop one off and many will just spawn in it's place.

Remember Napster? Went down and WinMX took it's place... then that went down and Limewire took it's place, then Frostwire. Then? People just start making blogs and posting links. If we want to be real, I mean really real, I was in 10th Grade when Napster hit and I remember having to check tracklistings and shyt to make sure I had a complete album. If I wanted to DL Drakes new album right now (not that I would want to :patrice: ) I could have that shyt in like 5 minutes just by Googling the shyt or hopping on a link on YouTube or perusing the profiles of...uh..other message boards :youngsabo:

Who remembers NinjaVideo? That shyt went down and the whole internets butthole clenched up. Where were people gonna stream movies and TV shows from then? Flash forward to 2013...Icefilms, Movie2k, Alluc...the shyt is actually even easier NOW.

You cannot stop the internet. And more importantly, anything that becomes integrated with the Internet becomes 10x more powerful than it was before. The feds need to think about this as they waste billions of dollars on this drug war when they could be making billions of dollars in tax revenues...

i remember like 10 years ago i was big into carding , back then it was just mirc chat rooms, and learning algorithms and ghetto cc extrapolates. Now the game is so easy, when I was looking for a cd key for a program a few weeks ago i stumbled across a forum and i was like :wow: the game done changed.
