is world beyond really that good?
couldn't get past the first ep, watched like 15-20 mins and turned it off
is it post Fear, post TWD? i forget
It's set 10 years after the outbreak. Also confirmed this series that S9 of TWD, or when Rick left at least, is only set 4 years after it all started. It's worth a watch. Genuinely tense at times. Adds a lot to the lore and world that the shows inhabit (unlike TWD which is so repetitive and confined, again less so in Fear which has expanded all over) and ties in to the other shows at times as well. It just finished today. Was a 2 and done show. 2nd series is a huge improvement on the first but it excels because it tries something different rather than rehashing the same story over and over again like TWD.
There is some huge shyt happening in the series and gives an insight into the lengths people will go to for what they believe is right for humanity rather than the small scale of the other shows, or to a lesser extent FTWD.
Plus it ended with an interesting coda which I think gives a hint to one of the ways Tales from The Walking Dead is going to go with a proper "oh fukk".
