Since you only read the headline, please tell me, what part of “FBI data shows violent crime up 10.4%, property crime up 6.4% since 2019” is comparing only 2019 vs. 2023 instead of crime between those years.
Are you serious right now? :russ:Oh I see what the problem is....You're a fukking idiot nikka thats illiterate lmao... It makes sense.... This stupid fukking moron is actually arguing with me that the 10% increase mentioned in the headline isn't actually a comparison of 2019's data to current data as it clearly states in the damn sentence.... Let me ask slow nikka...How do you think that 10% number was calculated you dumb ass clown? This should be very simple to answer...and put this whole embarrassing sideshow to rest lmao
Now, let’s then look at the article where the first sentence literally said “between 2019 and 2023.” Are you really this stupid? You’re putting on an act, aren’t you?
This dumb nikka got confused by the word "between" :russ::russ::russ: the incompetence of some of you nikkas is truly amazing

Now why would they intentionally choose to not make the headline about a more recent period where crime was obviously higher in a discussion about comparing current crime rates :jbhmm:
To make it look like crime is trending up instead of down like it is.

What were the previous numbers?
A 2.1% drop was reported for 2022 at first, which was then adjusted to a 4.5% rise. Between 2022 and 2023, a 5.7% drop has been reported. It should continue to drop as we move further and further away from the pandemic.

Long term solutions, in the meantime what do you do? You didn't name short term shyt and not everyone is going to treat these fools with baby gloves. Yes people want them locked up now.
Are you blind? Nowhere in my post am I arguing against fighting crime in the meantime. I explicitly state that I support addressing crime but oppose relying on failed "tough-on-crime" policies that have historically led to mass incarceration and other negative consequences.

Playing with numbers to get certain people elected. It never fails
What never fails is how people are always falling for misleading right-wing narratives. This falls strictly on police departments who resisted reporting their data to NIBRS.

The NIBRS system was implemented to improve the accuracy of crime reporting, but because many local law enforcement agencies were slow to adopt it, the data initially provided was incomplete. This created discrepancies, which later led to the revision showing higher crime rates.

This is not a result of political interference.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Na, breh. As an 80s baby I know the 90s was supposedly bad or whatever, but it was not like this world is now. I know I can't prove that but again, just from living almost 40 years and observing, na...
lol everything is on social media now, and EVERYBODY has a cell phone with picture capabilities. Of course it’s going to seem like it’s way worse now, because everything is in your face. How can you not see that, it is the most obvious thing in the world
