It's sad, I don't blame her, I blame the environment.
I am glad my mom moved us several states over when she saw the writing on the wall. I was upset with her for a whole year because I had to leave my friends, neighborhood and schools that I was comfortable with. I went back to visit 2 years later and was shocked how things changed so fast, some of my friends were locked up, other pushing drugs and with felonies piling up. it can be done, it's never too late.
