Unlike Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Father Ted etc Only Fools And Horses went to shyt at the end.

Yeah, but to me it ended when they got rich, I never watched the very last 3 episodes after half the cast had died.

I knew that would be painful and just ignored it ever happened.

Del finally making it after 20 plus years bring a test to your eye.

Also, I always thought porridge>fawlty towers.

Yeah Porridge was nice as well.

The Brits don't make comedies like they used to. Last really good shows were Black Books and Spaced.

We dropped done classic shows over the years, mainly comedies.

I mean even the inbetweeners is a recent classic.

People should check out game on as well, underrated comedy about a geezer with agoraphobia.

I agree. Also Peep Show is one of the funniest Brit sitcoms at the moment. Its not as funny as its been in the past but Peep Show in its prime? >>>>>>>>

Also whats helps is that our shows generally work on a 6-12 ep format per season. So they dont have to stretch a season out longer than they have to. As they say less is more

Yeah Black Books was good but I feel that almost everything that happens outside of the store is meh.

But aren't many of them longer? So it comes out like a one full season in the US

Special mentions for Bottom, Alan Partridge and Red Dwarf as well. :whew:

What funny is that the best British comedies/shows since the 90's have been mostly shown on BBC2 & CH4 where they have a bit more licence with the content. Then the run of the mil safe shows shown on BBC1 & ITV
