What I love about Lupe is that he is social concious. I might not always agree with his perspective, I don't need to. But he brings up topics that need to be talked about. It's not always about having the right answer in the begining, sometimes it's just about starting that conversation. Lupe is important to the culture.

FNLII

The cool was a dope concept album , FNLI was special.. But this album is lyrical perfection , and content wise , it cant be fukked with. Lasers was not a bad album.

I need to revisit FNL 1 again, but just from memory , that was my most enjoyable Lu album.

But my face when hearing Paris, Tokyo & Streets on Fire for the first time :ahh:

From top to bottom

Words I never Said
Til I get there
State run radio
Break the chain
All black Everything
Im beaming

* The show goes on was cool

Go back and listen to the lyrics , god. This album's sound deviated somewhat , but the content was still there,

Listen to Break the chain.. Not as complex as some of his other shyt , but hows it any different from what hes saying on FNLII ? Strange fruition ,unforgivable youth etc,
