actually, this depends on your post history. much how like a joke from a friend you know to be cool with you about ethnicity you can laugh off, but if the same joke came from a co worker who had said some shyt about minorities being lazy a couple weeks back youd be offended.

maybe they think you're just joking. homosexuals want to be seen as equals, they want their relationships to have the same value as a heterosexual relationships...that's the whole idea....if you think their lifestyle is disgusting they consider you to be a bigot and a homophobe.

I am joking, but a joke isn't just something that has no truth to it, like in the Pryor and Chappelle racism jokes I mentioned to fscballin. They know that I actually don't like the thought of gay sex, but they also know there's no hate or bigotry behind it, just like I know when they joke about how they find hetero sex disgusting, they actually do, so there's truth to it, but there's no hate or emotional negativity behind it.

The question of value in relationships is totally different than the question of gay sex, and we might never agree on that issue, but I think that's less relevant to the discussion about legal, secular rights and also to everyday interactions with people who happen to be gay. And the word lifestyle is tricky, because it's an easy avenue to legitimate homophobia imo. Homosexuality is not a lifestyle and has no connection to any particular lifestyle. A homosexual in denial or in the closet is still a homosexual.

Uhhh yeah. Thats because that would be automatically assumed to be trolling, by everyone really. That's really not that different from writing a thread called "I think Mexicans are ugly looking". It's a subjective, provocative topic title and doesnt really have any discussion... It's just some fukkwad yelling out to the world what his opinion is.

a thread called "homosexuality is disgusting" could be seen as calling homosexuals as a people disgusting which of course would be seen as a move and would draw their ire. context is your friend my friend....
