When you have kids, you realize not everything is neglect. Kids want to do kid things. Build a fort with couch cushions and blankets, sleep in their sleeping bags, sleep downstairs rather than in their rooms. If you have more than one kid and they have separate rooms, when they're young they'll see it as some sort of treat or event to 'sleepover' in one of the other kids room for a night.

The coli has a bunch of reddit cacs so of course they see a black man with multiple kids and assume he's in poverty and can't afford beds, and he's shaking them pretty hard for a video so he must be abusive.

The kids also didn’t look frightened when they woke up, they looked clean, healthy, had jammies on…

It's Saturday night into Sunday morning. Kids stay up and play video games, watch tv, play on their tablets and some parents don't make their kids go to bed at a certain time or even insist they sleep in their beds! Better call child protective services!

When it’s the weekend, I would often fall asleep in the den or living room because we got to stay up all night playing the game and watching movies. I liked the floor because I got more space. Sometimes we’d unfold the couch and sometimes we’d put an air mattress down if my mom didn’t want us on the actual floor.

This is too real.

We threw my kid a big surprise birthday party the other day and him and his buddies were playing so hard that we forgot to open his gifts at the event venue.

He rode back to the crib with my mom and wife and I went out for a little while with some of the other dads after the party. I told him he could open all his gifts but just wait to open the one from me and my wife because it was something he really wanted and I wanted to see his face when he opened it.

Long story short, I stayed out a little late and didn’t get in till around midnight. I’m creeping through the door and the garage making sure not to make any noise to wake anybody up. I come through the entrance of the house and it’s all dark. I set the alarm on the wall panel and it dimly lit the room. As I turn to go to my room, I see little man on the other side of the house standing in his pajamas wide awake. The first words out of his mouth are “heyyyyyyy daddy! Can I open my gift now?”

And they broke as fukk, hit dogs for real.

Their parents couldn't afford cribs, nor beds. They was sleeping on apartment floors and dirty houses talking about "Never again! Not for my children!!!!"

I can't be seriously upset with them, poverty brain is real. They don't know there are carpets that cost 4x their current house payment. And vacuums that cost 2x the most expensive car payment they've ever had. And when you enter those houses you remove your shoes, there's no roaches, no rats, no bugs.....
