Not self defense at all. They werent on their private property, they met in an alley. They had obviously gone back to their house and grabbed guns to confront ol dude with every intention to kill him. That alone makes it premeditated murder. Itd be one thing if dude stepped on their property acting up and they busted off on him, but nah, its the fact that they grabbed guns and entered a completely avoidable conflict.HE SPECIFICALLY SAID: "I am going to DISARM YOU and put a bullet directly through his skull!"

It isnt standing your ground either, its a mutual confrontation. The fact that they also grabbed guns is the icing on the cake. Unless they happened to be just posted in the alley holding heat then dude rolled up on em with a bat, its not self defense. The fact that they aren't on private land means NOTHING. They're in an alley, so what!?
Now if their sole intention was murdering him they would have immediately ran up and shot him. That was clearly not their intent. No way this is murder.
The fact that Dead Aaron proclaimed that HE WOULD KILL THEM over and over, should pretty much seal this case. The video is the icing.

its a mutual confrontation where the victim also felt compelled to bring a weapon - you can't discern who started/escalated what simply because one party brought bigger guns to the following encounter.
Also, you're disregarding the warnings "come within 3 feet of me and I'll kill you", warning shots, and the fact that dude with the bat swung first. All that shyt counts. They gave this dude outs. Several. He could've walked away but decided to try his luck with a bat instead of waiting for the cops - the same cops who'd already been at his residence several times in the past.
I'm a true believer of fukkalltheseclowns, but just because they got into an argument and came back with guns doesn't concisely show an intent to murder as you say. Both parties showed up expecting an altercation, but the clear aggressor is the one dead. Going by the video and what we know.... It ain't that straight up or easy to say that.

Both parties would get charged if dude lived, but self defense goes out the window when you engage in confrontation. At least where Im from, say I get in a street fight with someone who mutually agreed to do so, with witnesses present, we both catch a disorderly. If I swing on someone who doesnt wanna fight, assault. If I engage in confrontation, go to my car and grab a gun, then come back and fire....murder. They both met up in conflict when both couldve walked away. Thats never self defense, they were both looking for a fight AND its on camera. Only difference is that one party was outgunned. And even if folks do somehow get off, as mentioned earlier, the dad might get off, the son wont because dude was no longer a threat once he caught two to the chest. The shotgun blast was excessive.
The castle doctrine is literally a Texas law that covers firearms being used in self defense when it comes to ones property. My G, Im not talking about no doctrine. If they weren't on DEAD AARON's property (and this is neither of theirs, then they are equally-yoked.) He chose to make terroristic threats on public land, and that's where he would eventually bleed out.
If I'm the fat white boy:
