The Ricans that participated in hip hop were considered to be rebelling against their families at the time. It wasn’t always all kumbaya between blacks and ricans in NYC like people think. They participated but they didn’t help create shyt. Hip hop is a black American created art form that was participated in by caribbeans and Ricans.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Always thought that was wack

As far as his old stuff I messed with this.

Joe has always been average rapper even when Pun, Prospect and etc was writing his shyt. It became laughable when breh got consistently technical and started spitting multi's out of nowhere

Flow Joe was dope. The shyt Is Real was fire too. Joe had some shyt. A couple great albums too. Too bad he turned out to be a clown. Smh.

He was Drake before Drake

Came outta nowhere in 92 at the same time gangsta rap hit the East Coast heavy.

Had a cheat code with DITC beats, King Sun writing his rhymes, and undercover hip hop task force protection.

The real Terror Squad nikkas call him a liar

The rap Terror Squad nikkas call him a liar

Only people consigning him are the tethers and we all know they're all agents.

So, who is this nikka?

Fat Joe is the East Coast version of Game.
Literally.
From his 'legacy' being built on someone else's work, down to how everyone outside of where he's from views him and his place in rap.
Respected (past tense) but mocked (present perfect tense)
memed on for being so try-hard they come off as disingenuous, and detrimental to the very culture they claim to be an axis point of
and no one gives a shyt about their current music.

But, fittingly of the East Coast; he's a white-presenting puerto rican who takes pride in saying 'nikka' in front of every black person he can find, whilst managing to quell that intrinsic part of 'who he is' when in spaces full of other blue eyed pale people.

....at least he never got a butterfly face tattoo :francis:

I just remembered Fat Joe was apart of the grafitti scene, that's a element of Hip Hop

Exhibit A of the tethers walking this clown into the game.

The black is trash like someone painting for their very first time all uneven and someone with actual skill added the red outline to clean it up.

It appears KRS is holding red spray paint.

And looking at the clothes this is ‘93/’94.

This was a record company executed photo shoot “for the culture.”
