I dont like arguing in ways that women do. That’s what some of yall do.

Statement 1: Fat Joe is a habitual line stepper and he’s very unlikeable

Statement 2: Fat Joe is hip hop.

Both statements are true. Just bc you don’t like the mfer, doesn’t mean you ‘stay on code’ and try to change the argument or use a diversion. Thats how women argue :scust:

the Bronx is the most notable and recognized place where Hip Hop was cultivated, its not where it started, thats like saying Blues started in the Delta. there is some truth to it but one thing we know for sure is Black Americans started all that shyt.....coming out of slavery. who was the very first person to rap? I dont know but it was people before the 70's doing that shyt. who had the first breakthrough commercial hip hop record? Hip Hop just like every other popular genre of music was created by black americans. how do you think Jazz was created? Rock n Roll, Funk, etc....? now look at the hypocrisy....they tryin to discredit and alienate Beyonce for making a Country album yet Fat Joe out here hosting all types of black music/hip hop awards. if yall dont get all the way the fukk up outta here. do you hear Country music of today? its HIP HOP. even using out goddamn slang! got some nerve to say B cant make a record when we invented the shyt. there may have been one or two people here and there in the beginning, who knows, but they aint create shyt and damn sure not 50/50! if they did, it would have been a Puerto Rican Melle Mel, Caz, KRS ONE, Rakim, Sugar Hill, Kurtis Blow. how they create some shyt 50/50 but aint have no damn representatives??? literally wasnt shyt til Big Pun came along, especially Fat Joe.

another couple of points. I never get how people hate on not only Tariq (who doesnt have a criminal background that I know of) Elijah Muhammad, Minister Farrakhan, but worship Malcolm X. coli posters the worst with that shyt.

lastly, I tell people all the time, New York was the mecca, of not just hip hop but of trendsetting and originality. it was this same arrogance that was the undoing of NY Hip Hop, trying to block others from light and dissing everyone who tried to participate in hip hop, starting with the rise of the west coast, the hate was brutal. Midwest was getting blocked. then the clowing of the South and country folk, especially the way they talk, then when they started selling records and nikkas in NY wasnt moving no units they wanna hop on the bandwagon, even try and talk like country nikkas. disgusting.

NYC has to get the credit, but this narrative that just because someone was born and raised in the Bronx dont mean they are accurate in saying anyone beside black americans play as big a role as they did in inception. and Busta is my guy but that nikka said black americans didnt have culture and Jamaicans brought culture to us. is he fukkin for real? Bob Marley told nikkas they were covering R&B songs early on. where did dancehall come from? this damn re-writing of history aint gonna fly. Not on sosme of our watch. foh.
No doubt. This whole creating shyt needs to be checked. My fam who was there ALL AGREED on that point.

Ricans relationship with hip-hop is not the same as White people coming around to hip-hop.

But don't overstep saying you created

The Ricans that participated in hip hop were considered to be rebelling against their families at the time.
My kid’s moms mother, a PR, told me that when she was growing up they couldn’t have black friends in their house, her parents didn’t trust blacks. They’re from Queens mind you, lol. Fat Joe may not be that, he’s not from that generation…but I promise you he’s heard his people say some sh!t! Lol.

Some latinos are highkey more racist than a lot of these whiteys running around out here for real.

There definitely was that element as well. Only the "cool" ones who had a pass were there.

This whole thing only started because of a fake pimp turned activist turned MAGA called Tariq Nasheed

the-mack-within-1.jpg

Don't forget his other hustle, Gangsta Rapper, claiming CRIP even though he's from Alabama and didn't move to LA until he was in his 20s.

Racist or not, that nikka is hip-hop. He lives and breathes this shyt, his whole fukking life, you gotta respect that.
I thought the controversy Was him claiming he we black and that Ricans played a bigger part in the creation of hip hop than they actually did

Where’s the racist stuff coming from?

They added to it. From MCing, DJing, Writing, Bboying.

That 50/50 thing is cap but they added to it later on.

"THEY ADDED TO IT LATER ON"

I ASKED WHAT DID THEY
CONTRIBUTE AT THE START OF HIP HOP
NOT YEARS AFTER HIP HOP WAS CREATED.

YOUR POST WAS JUST A LONG WINDED
WAY OF SAYING NOTHING

Fat Joe contributed a lot to Hip Hop on and behind the scenes…

- He saved a lot of your fav rappers(Common and 2Pac)
- Didn’t hate on the South and embraced Lil Wayne and Khaled
- Gave us Big Pun. Him and Pun killed Deep Cover.
- Stood up to 50 like a man unlike Cam’ron
- Called out Jay-Z along Prodigy over the “NY been soft ever since Snoop came through and crushed the buildings” line.
He is Hip Hop….

If u grew up and watched Fat Joe’s videos on TV, you already know the deal.

Cats acting like he dropped a whole racist tape saying KKK rhetoric.

These snowflakes obviously didn’t listen to his early stuff or watched the “We Taken Over” video on MTV Jams to the point where that and Ay Bay Bay kept getting “Jam Of The Week”.

Fat Joe explained his stance about the N word plenty of times.

Even Al Sharpton called him the realest nikka ever
