I don't agree with him but I understand why he said it since he came out of his camp originally.

The only person in Hiphop I would put in the same solar system as Quincy is Dre.

And I’m putting Dre in the same solar system and not same planet as Quincy, because Dre can’t play instruments, write, and compose music (at least not with the same level of proficiency as Quincy).

Phuk genres, most people in music, period, can’t be mentioned in the same breath as Quincy.

Remember when he thought he could decide who can and can't say nikka?:mjlol: Remy Ma defended him talking about he's one of us.:camby:

Hell yeah thats one of the main reasons I stopped fukking with that bozo.

I remember when he was doing the promo run for whatever album All the Way Up was on, he came to my city and did a radio interview talking that same bs about how he can say the n-word because he grew up in the hood and everybody in the hood say it yada yada and had the mixed spanish bytch on the radio giving him a pass to say it.

shyt was disgusting I havent fukked with him at all since.

I like some of Khaled’s records too but it’s gotten to a point where people feel like they need to overrate someone to show appreciation to them.
No it’s because they want to stay in khaled’s “good graces “
He obviously has major pull and connections. You don’t stay relevant in the industry for this long putting out trash compilation albums with out pull

Serious question, has Khaled executive produced any albums other than his own? Any classic albums?

What, exactly, is Joe basing this statement on? :mindblown:

Basing it off the fact that's his mans for like 20 years and TS used to hold him down. I wouldn't be shocked if he still gets bread passed.his way by Khaled

Fat Joe is a legend but he is completely off base on this. This is why I say just because someone is in the field of their profession doesn't make them an expert and goes for musicians, athletes, anyone.

Dr Dre and DJ Quik are way more apt comparisons hell maybe add in RZA, Premo, Madlib but not Khaled.
People keep giving him and Pun participation trophies because they’re his panic. How is Fat Joe a legend? Time in a game doesn’t make you a legend.

Legends are Jay, Nas, KRS, BIG, PAC, Run DMC, LL, Rakim, Dre, Snoop, Puff just to name a few... What has he contributed on par with the named? What trends has he ever started? He’s a legend in his own mind like Khaled and they just keep throwing it out there until someone says it.
