The real problem is LANGUAGE barrier cuz keepin it a BUCK, i grew up in the era where aa wasnt even fukking with ZOES like that, stayed disrescpecting them and claiming yall haitian you not BLACK black. Its deeper than language. The Spanish & Portugese didn't discriminate on what they wanted to run up in (blacks & natives). As oppose to the English & Dutch. The one drop rule & admixture of these two different cultures, create cultural differences along with language.

Afrobeat and Kizomba been making noise all over the world for a while now. It's in the U.S. that people are just now paying attention to it. Back in 2012 i was in London and wend to a couple of clubs there. shyt was crazy. Same thing in France.

But personally my favorite is actually Congolese music which itself doesnt fall under the afrobeat umbrella. Dope shyt tho. Ivorian music (zouglou) is pretty dope too.
