I worked fast food and it was horrible(with a college degree mind you), they deserve so much more than what they get. I'm not shocked that people are stupid enough to gety mad at them for wanting more. The companies can afford to do better but they wont.

I worked Mickey Ds in high school and to this day, that was probably one of the hardest and most stressful gigs, I ever had. It really is hardwork work.

A lot of these service companies(Walmart, fast-food etc.) need to start doing more for their employees. The same way manufactures usedvto take care of their employees back in the 50s and 60s. Otherwise, the taxpayer is going to end up picking up the tab so that's Papa John can build a fukking Moat around his house.

It's just a damn shame so many of you have been brainwashed into hating your fellow workers.

This is part of modern neoliberal capitalism. It encourages an every man for himself mentality that detracts from class consciousness, and furthermore, moralizes what should be looked at from structural, socioeconomic perspectives. The result is workers hating each other and blaming people for their own economic condition no matter what, even if it defies all evidence, and going the extra mile to actually call them greedy or entitled if they dare try and change those structural conditions. It's pathetic, but that's how it is now.

These bums think they'll be rich and don't want to share, when they are the first ones to call for help. And even if you become rich, is that the end game??? This dude in KC just destroyed this entire NFL weekend, the Koch brothers have no friends what so ever. The real wealthy in this country are liberal and are to the left of some folks here on taxes. You would never hear warren buffett say these things. "New Money" is a joke and the next time there's a recession they get hit first just like in 2006.

The old Divide and Conquer my friend. It's such a simple yet effective strategy.

So if your not paying people whatever they demand its now considered slavery according liberals. Why don't you start your own business and pay your workers whatever they desire and lets see how long your in business. But im sure you would rather sit on the sidelines and criticize business leaders from the comfort of your crusty cough fakkit.

Real slaves would bytch slap you for making such and ignorant comment btw.

Hate to break it to you, but this is the free market at work --- the art of negotiation and leverage isnt the exclusive province of top income brackets. If I didnt know any better you're, at best, engaging in class warfare and attacking lower income workers, since you insist on aggressively undervaluing their hard work and contributions. You dont feel like they deserve to negotiate their position. Little else makes sense, because they are merely operating within a free market system. Unless of course you advocate capping the wages of fast food work, which would make you an economic schizophrenic.
