Los Ingobernables de Sala de Cine
Not saying it's perfect breh. I'm not overrating anything. Trust me it's got a lot of issues even in the first half with the interactions and the way sue and reed are with each other but the thing is I have no clue how that would've turned out based on that second half where it seemed like things were set up in the first and then just abandoned or fast forwarded in the second. I just wanted more of what I got for the first hour and wanted to see how that would've turned out. Instead I got two different movies and it's just sloppy and poorly handled. And most of the characters outside of Reed aren't developed well. We agree breh but I stick by what I said that it at least looked like it was going somewhere interesting and it's also possible that those things that seemed to have seeds planted would've gone somewhere but of course we'll never know because it's all thrown to the bushes with the quickness.
We agree except I disagree that it looked like it was going somewhere interesting. The most interesting thing the movie does are the accident itself (if you can ignore the painful CGI) and the scenes directly after which definitely played into that Cronenberg horror stuff you keep bringing up, but that stuff clashed so enormously with what came before it that it already felt incredibly off before the Fox meddling started creeping in and becoming more obvious.
