It's not over. There's too much venture capital behind these companies. Someone in a position of political power will realize the ramifications of making this illegal and/or they will legalize it after they figure out a way for these companies to "comply" aka government scumbags get paid somehow.

the only way this turns legal is if MLB and NFL get their hands out of Draft Kings/Fan Duel pockets.. theyre both in deep hundreds of millions with both companies. It just looks like shyt is rigged

only reason this stuff even exists is because sports betting is outlawed almost everywhere. virtually no one in nevada played dfs, because you could just bet the games. thats why draftkings and fanduel just said oh well when nevada outlawed it. it was a drop in the bucket of their business. who is wasting time and money putting together lineups to play vs legit pros when they can just bet vs the house and bet the game, with way less vig? dfs rues the day sports betting is legalized, because they will have a sliver of the business they have now when that happens. these dfs sites are probably just placeholders, to have their toe already in the water, and will become full fledged sports books if/when sports betting becomes legal and regulated nationally
