Seriously though, that's why if I did vote or if I thought that my vote counted i'd vote libertarian.

The lib and conservative politicians are trying to police morality or outlaw it if they cant profit from it. Legalize it ALL. If you want to smoke crack, bang hookers, and gamble, thats on YOU. Some people can handle it. If you cant handle it, thats on YOU.

This is Fanduel and DraftKings own fault for being ALL IN THE VIDEOS annoying the shyt out of everyone. :martin:

Legislators didnt even have to know why they should illegalize it, they already knew they wanted the ads off their TV

I know they all want to take that draft kings employee who couldn't keep his mouth shut and beat the shyt out of him.
...
The New York State attorney general on Tuesday ordered the two biggest daily fantasy sports companies, DraftKings and FanDuel, to stop accepting bets in New York, saying that their games constituted illegal gambling under state law, according to people with knowledge of his investigation.
...
Mr. Schneiderman began investigating the fantasy sites after a DraftKings employee inadvertently released internal betting data and that same week won $350,000 on the rival site, FanDuel, which is based in New York.
...
Nevada regulators ruled last month that daily fantasy sports should be considered gambling, not games of skill, and ordered fantasy companies to suspend operations until they secured gaming licenses.

Daily Fantasy Sport Sites Told to Halt Activity in New York

It's a game of skill, not luck... and internal betting data. :russ:

I came to the same conclusion a few years ago (I noticed a lot of people do when they get a little older).

Repubs and Dems are no different than a man trying to get some ass in a club.
They will do and say anything to get what they want. So they appeal to the lowest common denominator in their parties.

I just read that NY runs horse racing in their state :upsetfavre:

These folks are really on some Soprano shyt.

Damn, that's a huge loss in traffic/population
It's the beginning of THE END...
More stats will add on and it will eventually get to the point they can give away the HUGE grand prizes...
I think this will be the last season of NFL million dollar weekly prizes at Draft Kings.

But it really and TRULY is a SCAM (only top 10% of people get cash back)...
It really and TRULY is gambling...

I'm moerso Liberterian some of my social political views as well.
And we all know that this is strictly about how much the State can benefit from it.

Gambling goes on everyday in America. Lottery, Horsetrack betting, etc.

The idea that some gambling should be made illegal on a moral premise is downright silly. :mjlol::mjlol:

I'm not in the camp that if fantasy is allowed, it's good for regular betting. When whole sports leagues are backing fantasy, that just blocks everything else from coming up. Cause the US is just as corrupt as 3rd world countries, it's just not about the obvious stuff. They made their money on things like this. Hilarious how this all happened to do a bit of specialized language here and there. fukk it all, there's nothing to say!

I will miss the way under the radar MLS contests though, battling with just 200 people for 1000 bucks of merchandise, game tickets and flights, MLS Cup tickets for just a $3 entry. That was a bit of fun. But miss me with those contests with 10,000 people in them.

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Why DraftKings and FanDuel Spent $206 Million on Ads This Year

Company: DraftKings

Valuation: $1.2 billion

Total capital raised:$375 million

2014 Revenues: $30 million

2015 TV ad spend to Oct. 5:$131.4 million

Company: FanDuel

Valuation: $1.3 billion

Total capital raised:$361 million

2014 Revenues: $57 million

2015 TV ad spend to Oct. 5:$74.5 million

Bear in mind advertising is just part of their operating budget and those tv numbers don't cover all of that.. They still have employee costs, legal, property expenses etc.

But breh, they were clearing $50mln+ with minimal exposure.

Imagine how many more people are aware or have signed up to those sites in the last year alone? Imagine what 2015 revenues will look like?

Also, besides data centers and servers, these sites have extremely low overheads. Compared to casino's, who pay a ton in employee's/property/comp's. Hell, i wouldnt be surprised if marketing comprises more than 75% of the company's SGA.

Bottom line, these sites are a cash cow.:wow:
